This cookware set is an exceptional value, including all of the pans needed to equip your kitchen with the most used cooking pieces. As the set contains only basic pieces, you'll really use each and every pan. It includes saucepans for whisking a homemade sauce or cooking your morning oatmeal, a big stockpot for soups, stews or boiling pasta, and skillets (probably the most used pan in any kitchen) that will help you turn out perfect crepes or a simple grilled cheese sandwich.

Very nice skillet!
We have used the skillet 3 times and are very pleased. It's light weight and the nonstick surface is exceptional. very little oil is needed to cook. We hope the surface holds up over time, only time (and multiple uses) will tell :)

While researching good non-stick, non-PFOA cookware, I kept coming across EarthPan II in ConsumerReports and other credible places. I have to admit that I was skeptical, given their comparatively low price and high marks. I've had the pan about 4 weeks now, and so far, I am really impressed. It looks good, it feels good (I expected a much lighter, thinner-feeling pan based on some of the reviews, but it's actually a fairly substantial pan), and cooks well with nice, even heat distribution. Best of all, clean up is incredibly easy and I love that I can throw it in the dishwasher if I'm feeling lazy or pressed for time. The only downside, so far, is that I feel that the handle is too narrow. If you like to pick the pan up to stir contents, or even get fancy and flip a pancake with out a spatula, the pan is wide and the handle is so narrow that it feels unstable; the handle wants to spin in your hand and send your food flying. Nit-picking, sure. But I thought I would pass that along.
