Reminds me of pottery made by hand on the potter's wheel. Beautiful- cleans easily in the dishwasher. I've been looking for new dinnerware for quite a while and finally found what I like. I'd highly recommend it .

Mine have a very subtle hint of blue, but mostly browns. I do like them very much, they are a nice weight and have an overall earthy look. One of the salad plates was broken in shipping and they replaced it right away.

Well, I should have listened, because the blues in the dishes are far more subdued than the picture on the website. This is not cooking.com's fault - the picture on the website matches the picture on the box. But neither match the dishes.
If you want a brilliant blue, as pictured, you will be very disappointed, as we were. If you want a subdued blue, then these dishes will probably be fine. The dishes seemed fine other than that we never used them.
Very disappointed that Sango Nova Blue China was discontinued, but very glad to find matching pieces for my daughter's set that she had picked out five years ago for her wedding. Thanks so much for having these in stock and for the fast shipping that you offered.

I thought that I had lost all my dishes during the moving process and so I ordered the exact same thing I had before the move. Thank god that I ended up finding my dishes unscathed after some heavy duty unpacking. It took more than 1 month for Cooking.com to ship me the dishes! Crazy!! Left to waiting for Cooking.com to ship, you may end up eating all your meals on papertowels and/or paper plates!!

My daughter picked this dinnerware set based on the picture on the website. However, the blue-green mother-of-pearl is not the 16-pc. Brown dinnerware set by Sango. What you get is exactly what the name suggests-a tan and brown dinnerware set where all the pieces are exactly the same, not individually handcrafted as the description indicates. I will say that after explaining the problem to customer service they did refund me the cost of the product and the shipping since they admitted that the website was misleading.

That was disappointing, especially after how gentle we are with our dishes. I do enjoy these dishes though and they look great in our kitchen!
