I read in a review before I bought this that the cupcakes touched. I swirl a good bit of frosting on mine and they are fine. You just have to make sure the holders don't rotate. This would be easier of there was a locking mechanism for each layer but you can make it stable with a little ingenuity. Overall, it is the best carrier/display I have found.

I had to put something at bottom of each slot to be able to get cupcakes out once I get slot. Not good design but everything else good.

This is a cute clever idea for transporting cupcakes. And it holds 24 cupcakes which is great. I really like it. However, no one thought about how it would be to remove the cupcakes. Once the cupcakes are iced and in the individual holder, you cant get it out without getting icing all over your hand. I brought it into work and we had to use a plastic knife to lift the cupcakes out. I was very disappointed with that.

Needs a little hole in the bottom of the holders to push the cupcakes out! I had to use a fork to get the cupcakes out of their holders.
