I had another brand of food processor for 15 years and burned it out. After much research I found this particular Cuisinart to fit my needs. Since receiving this product, I can honestly say I will never use anything else again and hope I never have to replace it. The features are outstanding. It's quiet, quick and does the job as it is suppose to. One problem I've always had in the past is with making a good pie crust. The first thing I tried was the pie crust offered on the DVD that came with the product. It is the best pie crust recipe I have ever worked with and will make no other. This is the best appliance I have in my kitchen and I use it daily.

the instructions need to be a little better i thought at first it was broken
because i could not get it to run
my daughter-in-law visited and she showed me the handle had to be across
from the feed tube and what is the reason for the ridges in the bottom of the
large pusher? they are hard to clean

Excellent Product

I was told that nothing works like a Cuisinart but a Cuisinart. I love my new food processor. It is so quiet compared to the other brands that I have had in the past. I am very impressed with the job that it does on chopping and shredding. It is well worth the money.

Great addition

Elegant look, generous size, and works well. We made a hearty carrot-walnut soup the first time out - yum. You'll need to spend a little time assembling the thing if you haven't any experience, as the directions provided aren't clear--though overall a great addition to the kitchen.

This is my second Cuisinart, my first one is still in great condition, still works fine and now has a home in my daughter's kitchen. I really like this FP, its much quieter than my other one. I especially like the 14-cup capacity.

Have not had the opportunity to use this yet - and will probably give it to my son as a gift, as we also bought the blender/food processor combo, which is about the right size for 2 people.
Being Cuisinart, I'm sure it will perform well.

I have owned a few food processors but they all died too quickly,IMO, and they were always so loud. This one is so quiet you can hardly tell it is on yet is very powerful! It's so beautiful tat I leave it on my counter all the time! Would definitely recommend!

I'm frustrated with the fact that I can't buy a fine shredder blade for the Cuisinart. I have one with a much older model and use it frequently.

This purchase was not an impulse or a replacement, but a much needed addition due to the increased volume of my business. My original cuisie is still going strong after nearly 20 years of abuse/overuse. An investment in quality will always pay for itself over the longer term.

This is our first food processor and we did much research before deciding on this
Cuisinart. The name and reputation of Cuisinart was one of the factors in considering this purchase. We should have purchased this unit a long time ago. It makes our kitchen complete.

This was a replacement for my first Cuisinart processor. I don't know how I cooked/prepped without them before. It is amazing how much this thing can do and how well it does everything it claims. I wouldn't give it up. Even though a little pricey...it's well worth it!

This food processor works well, is extremely versatile and most importantly is easy to clean up. I can't believe I did not buy one a long time ago. It saves me so much time and I am more likely to use fresh herbs in my recipes now, because it is so easy to throw them in the food processor to chop up. Everything comes out perfectly chopped, shredded, minced, whatever. I also love the stainless steel finish.
