This toaster toasts evenly and more quickly than my last toaster. The slots are a good size and the design is great -- it matches the Cuisinart contact grill I also bought from Cooking.com.

We are unhappily surprised that it toasts the bread very unevenly. Even on one of the lowest settings the bread comes out slightly burned on one part yet nearly untoasted on others.

Great design in every way!

From the brushed finish (that doesn't show streaks), to the easy dial setting, I plugged it in, set what I thought would be right. I have used it almost every day and haven't changed a thing!
I am 52, an avid cook, and I've never owned a toaster. I am now a convert!

We found that the toasting performance of the Cuisinart is no better than a lower priced toaster. We have one of the least expensive toasters and it's about 2 years old and works as well or better for evenly toasting sliced bread and english muffins, as well as toaster pastries.

Good toaster but not the best

This is a good looking toaster and operates well, but a little pricey for what it does. The dial is the most disappointing since you can't read it (no contrast) if you're over 40 like me. It's good, and I wouldn't return it but wish I had only paid half what I did.

Basicly I love. It small and compact, doesn't fling toast out, cleans easily, and looks good. I like the defrost and bagel settings. I wish the toasting was slightly more even, but it is the best I've had in years.

This is a great toaster. I purchased for my Dad to replace the junk he had and he loves it especially the 'defrost' option. Even though I do plan to buy one for myself, I think it is just slightly overpriced maybe by about 15.00.

Best toaster I ever owned. The slots are really wide and the inner carriage holds the toast in place. Toasts evenly and does not pop the toast out of the carriage.

Welcome to the 2000s

This toaster replaced one I bought in the late 80's (and still working). I really didn't see a need to replace it, but now that I have, I won't go back. After a month, we are happy with the purchase. Let's see if we feel the same way say 10 years from now.

Beautiful on the counter top & has just the right amount of features. Service at Cooking.Com is another reason I continue to buy from here. Easy web site to use and fast delivery. I've only had a problem once and they took care of it immediately. Nevertheless, I would recommend the toaster.

Not only does it look good on the counter, but it performs flawlessly as well. The bread is always evenly toasted, and the results are pretty uniform day to day. Overall, I consider this an excellent product at a fair price.
