I love my mini chopper. It chops vegetables in seconds and even meat and cheese. It is so easy to clean too. I keep it on the counter and use it every day.

Wish I could take this chopper for a spin !

As usual, Cuisinart's product excellance comes through again. As a single guy who likes to cook, this chopper is perfect for me. It's assembly was a breeze and cleanup was easy too; you just have to be careful of that blade (it's as sharp as they say it is), but I feel most people are aware of that fact going. I have mainly used the chop function, and boy is it fast. Just a couple of quick pulses and you are through! I was glad that I didn't have to buy a whole big processor set up when all I needed was THIS ONE! Thanks again Cuisinart.

Cuisinart Mini

I love this little food processor. I have used it almost daily since I bought my own a year ago. I bought two more for my daughters this Xmas.

It is wonderful for small amounts of garlic, onion (one), etc., and much easier to clean than the large one, which is irreplacable for larger groups.

Poor quality Food Processor

by Daniel, ME

Small shouldn't mean cheap in terms of a food processor. This product is cheaply made and doesn't perform well at all. It can't handle anything that's too hard or dense. It can't handle any volume over a couple of tablespoons even though there is ample room in the container. The blade often slips out of it's holder and into the container when processing and the cheap motor overheats quickly as it isn't made strong enough to do even moderately difficult tasks. I wanted a small processor but I got one that is cheaply made and simply doesn't perform.

Very disappointing

by Joelle, LA
November 15, 2008

I ordered this food processor because my black and decker one broke. I had it for about 5 years and it worked very well. I thought I would try the cuisinart since it was the size I wanted. It really processes the food too much, almost liquidfying it. I could not get it to process like I wanted. I did exactly like it said, to use the less sharp blade but it still was too liquid.

I think I will try to get another black and decker one.

I didn't like this after I got it. Nothing to do with Cooking.com. I just thought that it was a little more than what I got.

Food does need to be in smallish pieces before processing, and moderate quantities work better than larger loads. Both these tips are in the how-to-use instruction book, so reading through that was a good use of five minutes! The item is sleek and compact, so it's welcome on the counter where it'll be handy. I had been looking for an even smaller chopper but think I will get more use out of this one.

I like the food processor. It was a little smaller than I really wanted, but it works well. I basically use it to chop vegetables for soups, stews and salads. So, it actually serves its purpose for me. Also, the price was right, too.

Thank you for this product.

The Mini-Prep is a wonderful food processor for small jobs, particularly for fast, fine chopping of garlic, herbs and vegetables. Lots of power! Cleanup is also very easy with this product, so it gets used a lot - nothing worse than a kitchen applicance which is so cumbersome or difficult to use/clean up that it ends up just taking up space in the cupboard!

The product was very handy for the holiday season and after. My daughter is responsible for cutting up the vegetables for the holiday, she raved , how easy it was to do. It also helped with the left over salad preparatiions. Cutting and chopping were precise. No cons on my part. Great Buy
