Our 6 layer lasagna fits in this deep cast iron pan without running over and bakes more evenly than glass casserole dishes. It's a great price as well.

The pan heats evenly and retains its heat for quite awhile. It is very heavy (11 lbs.). It is not as deep as advertised, slightly less than 3 inches.

I love this heavy-duty pan...

I really wanted the perfect lasagna pan and this is it...extra big, extra deep so that you can make a great thick lasagna with big leftovers. Pan is a bit heavy but I love it's beautiful rich red exterior. I recommend this pan for anyone cooking for boys or tons of friends.

A fine pan

We love this pan!! We threw out all of our glass pans after experiencing the lasagna baked in this substantial cast iron pan. There is no comparison, the meal is baked perfectly through and through and the pan is deep and copious in size. The meal stays warm for an extended period.

WAY too heavy

I purchased this product for my mother, and upon her as well as my own evaluation of this pan have reached the conclusion that it is too heavy for effective use. I have since returned it to cooking.com and am in search of an alternate pan.

I need a pan that would withstand higher oven temps to roast vegetables and well as meat. This seemed to be a great choice and a great price. I do not mind the weight, it is what you have to deal with when using cast iron. Not a problem!

I have had smaller versions of this cookware and was not prepared for the heft in a pan this size but I like the non reactive surface and the baking quality of the iron.

Cuisinart Lasagna pan is a great replacement

After decades I needed to replace my NordicWare lasagna pan as the no-stick interior was flaking off. I've been looking on and off for years for a replacement that was approximately the same size. This is the only pan I've found that fit that requirement. Works great, retains heat well, cooks the lasagna and my Italian hot dish perfectly. A bit heavy but I knew that going in, and I think it's part of the reason it does such a great job.
