Whether you're preparing a pot of beans and rice or making stock for a gumbo, the Le Creuset Caribbean 8-qt. Enamel on Steel Stockpot lets you cook all of your favorite one-pot meals with a touch of island flair. The colorful enamel exterior brightens up your kitchen even when you aren't using it, while the steel interior distributes heat evenly so you get properly cooked food every time. This beautiful and functional pot is designed to match the enameled cast-iron cookware in the Le Creuset Caribbean line, or you can use it to add a pop of color to your regular collection of pots and pans. Use this large-capacity pot to make pasta, simmer soup or create an award-winning chili recipe that's sure to be a hit at any pregame party; the large size and convenient features are sure to make this your go-to pot for large meals. Because it is lined with enamel inside as well, it won't absorb odors or flavors while you cook and it is easy to clean after use. Two convenient handles make it easy to transport this lightweight pot even when it's filled to the brim with a warm winter stew or cool gazpacho, and the tight-fitting domed lid keeps moisture and steam in the pot throughout the entire cooking process. You can use this stockpot on any type of cooking surface, including gas, electric and induction stovetops. A steel rim keeps the enamel from chipping when you put the lid on, and the piece comes with a limited lifetime warranty from the manufacturer.

  • Who would ever think there would be so much to selecting a good stock pot? This one is an excellent choice though, and special kudos to cooking.com. First, the pot itself is perfect for soups and stocks. I make a lentil and barley soup the first time I used it, and given the make up of the soup, anything short of perfect heat distribution would have resulted in burning or staining of the interior finish. None of this happened. The soup was perfect, and the pot cleaned up quickly and easily.
As to cooking.com, they had this pot on sale during the Christmas season. It was out of stock, and when it had come back in, it was back to regular price, even though a customer service person had said it would still be at the sale price. To keep it short, when I brought this up, cooking.com honored the sale price. That is sizzling customer service.
Great product, great retail company, great service. What more can you ask?

    I recommend this product.

  • Great Stock pot

This is my first really nice, (read expensive) stock pot. I have had cheap ones over the years, always saying next time...well I spent more and it was worth it! The quality is there, no chips or cracks, and it is a beautuful pot. This is also a nice heavy pot that does everything you'd expect. I have made 3 batches of soup since I got it and am ready for more!

    I recommend this product.

  • Great stockpot

Hey, what do you want in a stockpot? Gotta be heavy, heat evenly, right price. What more is there to say? Le Creuset has some great products, most of which are overpriced. This one is reasonable and performs well.

    I recommend this product.
