I am very happy with the purchase of the Cobalt Oval Large Serving Bowl. I love the color, and I am pleased that, even though it is a solid piece, it is not too heavy to carry around. I am already using it and expect to have it with me for a long time.

Le Creuset Bowl.. nice for special occasion

This bowl is a nice presentation piece. I have a few pieces of the caribbean Le Creuset sprinkled around my kitchen (which is mainly black) so this looks very nice when entertaining. It also holds a lot of food and of course has the good quality you find in Le Creuset products.

I haven't used this bowl yet but I ordered 2 of them to use for Thanksgiving dinner. I plan to use one for serving stuffing and one for serving potatoes. They will be perfect. They look great, they are not too heavy, they definitely will be large enough for serving the stuffing and potatoes. Plus they can go in the oven to keep things warms. Very attractive and also very functional. I will be using these bowls for many years.

Every meal is an excuse to use this bowl

To be fair, I bought this on sale, but I love it. The minute I brought it home, I rinsed it and used it. It's been used for the two of us, at dinner parties for 4 or 8. And bonus? It's dishwasher safe. i haven't used it in the oven yet, but I know it will do so beautifully. I'd recommend this to anyone. And if its on sale? Don't hesitate.

I LOVE this bowl - incredibly sturdy, oven-proof, beautiful. I have other pasta bowls that have just chipped and the glaze cracks, I wanted one I could warm in the oven and have it be sturdy. Very happy with this purchase, but I probably wouldn't have bought it if it wasn't no such a good sale.

Le Creuset Oval bowl is durable and able to go into the microwave or up to 500 degrees in the oven. It looks good and is flexible in it's uses, whether serving, preparing or cooking.

To heavy but look great

I didn't realize this bowl is so heavy and when you add food to it wow. It's very nice looking and makes my table setting look great. I like that I can cook in it, take it out of the oven, put it on a hot pad and serve.

i ordered one in blue and one in yellow. they are excellent quality as are all le cruset products. they arrived well protected and quickly. I have enjoyed them already. i like the unique shape and they take up less space in the refer and on the table than a bowl of similar volume that is round. very fun purchase
