I thought the price for a mug was high, but I wanted to make my mom happy. She wanted these mugs. They are a good product, attractive, sturdy, good volume. $14.95 each seems like alot for a mug, but prices elsewhere were equal or higher. And you had the largest color choice. All in all, a satisfactory transaction. And Mommy was happy.

Emile Henry Mugs

The mugs seemed like they would last a long long time, so I ordered eight.
Two arrived with incomplete glazing, and some mugs were heavier than others: rather clunky. Soon after using them, one chipped on the rim - not from a major impact. Overall the mugs delivered less satisfaction than I expected.
If you are looking for well-made, durable, classic mugs, keep looking.

Bright, friendly tea cups

I have been searching for this color (my kitchen is this color) cup for a long time. I'm especially fond of the shape. Most cups are square so soft lines are hard to find.

I really enjoy the quality of this product. I wish I could get the white dinner plates also.

When I got tired of the clutter of my coffee and tea mug cabinet, Emile Henry mugs were the first ones I thought of buying. I do not purchase items for my home that are not made in either the U.S or Europe. Because these mugs are made in France, to me the price was definitely worth it. I ordered 6 'fig'. The color is nice, a bit darker than I had expected, but an interesting color. I wish that the inside glaze was a creamier shade of white; it is a bright white, with a blue-ish tint. Nothing like the old Emile Henry mugs they used to carry at Williams-Sonoma, which were almost tan on the inside (too tan, and now too white in my opinion). These are a vast improvement over the older model, as the handle is now of proper size and proportion.

The cups are beautiful and they hold a substantial amount of liquid, however they are quite expensive.
