    French Onion Soup Bowls

    I have a nice collection of these bowls in multiple colors. We love them and find many uses for them. There is one issue that can be pesky though. The handles have a pin-sized hole on the bottom where it meets with the bowl. If washed in the dishwasher, and then you microwave bowls with, say leftovers later, VERY HOT water comes out of the hole. We have burned our hands numerous times forgetting about that hot water in the bowl handle. Once you get used to it, a towel can be used to grab the handle. Not a major issue. Otherwise the bowls are wonderful and practical. Get many comments about them from guests.
