I have needed a new pot this size for awhile and I finally purchased this one and I just love it. It has nice even heat and cooks everthing great. This pot is a little bigger than my last one and I'm very glad. I can double up on my recipes now with no problem.

Serves its purpose

I have been looking for a very long time for a larger stock pot. They are hard to find unless you are willing to pay 4 or $500 for one. Not me! Don't need one that big THAT often. Ordered a different one previously but was really cheap, the lid fit poorly, was thin and I sent it back. This is very nice (for the $) and definately serves it's purpose. Only used it once, but cleaned up well and is an attractive piece (although it didn't come in the color to match my Le Creuset, caribean.)

Le Creuset 16 qt. enamel stockpot

Great addition to the kitchen. Large enough for the biggest soups, chilis, stews and broths. Also a great mega pasta cooker (wish it had a pentola insert). Less expensive than Le Creuset cast iron (and 16 qts. of that material would be rather heavy) this pot is as large as most cooks will ever need. The enamel finish is beautiful yet durable. Highly recommended.

I love Le Creuset products. This pot is the perfect size for a large pot of soup, stew, sauce, etc. and I love the color. However the lid doesn't fit as it should but due to the weight of the product I decided not to send it back. It is certainly usable and I don't need to top to seal airtight.
