I'm so tired of complaints about the weight of Le Creuset cookware. Please! If it's too heavy for you to lift, then so are a LOT of other things. The point is that this stuff gets hot, stays hot, heats evenly, rarely needs "high" heat (unless actually boiling water for pasta), looks great and CLEANS UP EASILY! I am not replacing any of of my AllClad, just increasing the number of choices I have when cooking. And these sauciers are a pleasure. I use them daily.

Le Creuset makes other brands look bad

I started purchasing Le Crueset cookware about 2 years ago and have not looked back since. This cookware heats evenly, cleans up easily and is a pleasure all the way around. This product is perfect for sauces, glazes and working with smaller portions of soup etc.

This saucier replaced a Le Creuset I've had for 30 years and it is even better than the old one. It's a "must have" very versatile pan in such a pleasing blue color.

Great!

My wife loves Le Creuset cast iron. We have been through the Teflon coated Calphalon and other types. You cannot beat cast iron, and Le Cresuet is the best cast iron. And it looks good, too. I never could find the dimensions (diameter and depth) which would have been nice. 2-1/4 quarts does not exactly tell you how big it is. But it is a good size. We love it.
