Top to narrow and hits butter if not replaced very carefully.

While the entire dish is large enough, the actual space for the butter is very small so it's very easy to get the butter all over the inside of the cover and make a big mess.

i would have liked for it to be a darker, brighter blue, but otherwise, it was perfect.

I love my butter dish. There is not too much to say except that it came as described and works in keeping other smells and tastes OUT of my butter.

This butter dish is as attractive and practical as a butter dish should be. I appreciate the knob handle on top, and the lip into which the cover fits, This is a Christmas gift, and I think it is good enough for gift status.

It's a butter dish

Beautiful color, design and heavy enough to stay put, if one hasn't taken the butter out of the fridge in time for it to soften up. I've dropped the lid once already and it didn't even ding. I'm not recommending it be dropped, but I was impressed. A delight to use.

Pretty butterdish with handy knob

I was looking for a butter dish with a knob. It makes it so much eaier to get the cover off. Desgins without a handle can slip right out of your hand. And the red color looks great on my black countertop.

Cute butter dish

The base is a little bigger than the picture depicts. That was my only negative. I don't see a need for the base to be that big, but the lid looks kind of tiny on the large base. Otherwise, I am well pleased. I love the color, and it matches my other Le Creuset. The cute little handle is the bomb!

Great Butter Dish

This is great but beware it only fits smaller sticks of butter, not larger sticks. Cleans up well and keeps butter fresh!

I needed a butter dish and when I got this beautiful red covered butter dish I was so impressed it is not flemzy it is very strong & durable.

Lid doesn't fit well

Overall nice but lid lip makes you think the space for the butter is bigger. COnstantly making a mess covering the butter because of the design.

I like the handle, it's what attracted me to it in the first place. I don't know why the base is so wide and you have to place the lid on carefully if you don't want to get butter smeared on the inside of it. The weight is nice and I like the color too. All in all, a good deal.

There is not to much to say about a butter dish. The cost was too high, I thought. However, it did match my daughter-in-laws kitchen - so she like it and that is what was important.
