Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

by Anthony, MA
October 18, 2009

I was delighted with the stock pot when it arrived. When I used it for the first time, (and according to the directions) my experience was not happy. I tried to use it as a spaghetti sauce pan, frying the garlic, etc., in oil and then tomatoes, etc. Everything stuck to the bottom and even with a wood spoon, it was difficult to remove particles stuck to the bottom of the pan. I did not exceed the recommendations that came with the pan. Ok, after all was done, and the sauce/gravy made, when it came to cleanup, the burnt stuff required a lot of soaking and brillo. The brillo pads scratched the enamel (the directions said not to use it) but I had no choice as the burnt on stuff would not come off with anything else. So, I learned the hard way. Stock pots made of this material are strictly for boiling, nothing else. If you want to make a spaghetti sauce, don't use this pan.

Disgrace

by Shelly-Ann, NM
June 5, 2010

If need a pot to warm milk for your small child or steaming 3 cups of rice, this is great. The pot is more of a 2-qt than a 6-qt. I cannot even get a good pot of soup out of this for myself for a couple days. The color is great, although I expected the pot to have a thick base to it.

Nice-looking, well-made pot, perfect size to boil a pound of pasta or make a small soup. A little lighter weight than I expected, but still an attractive useful pot.

the size of this pot is great, it is lightweight, yet sturdy and durable and easy to clean, and all at a great price. Even though I don't entertain and have a small family, I cook alot and I do catering work and work in many different houses and use products that range from inexpensive to top of the line, so I really appreciate a product that is so versatile.thanks.

Top Quality Stockpot

by Diana, CA
March 11, 2009

I received my Stockpot in the mail and it was as beautiful as I hoped it would be. It is of good quality and cooks well. I use it to cook pasta, soups, spegetti sauce, etc. It is a great pan to have and I wouldn't mind owning a few more.

I love my new pot. It's just the right size.

I always enjoy shopping on line and feel that most purchases have a more than fair price. However, the shipping charges seem rather high for what I am buying. Maybe there is a good reason for this, but this often keeps me from buying for the shipping can come near to meeting the cost of the product.

Absolutely Perfect !

by Russell, OR
July 13, 2010

What a great little stockpot. Actually, I use mine for soups, chili and spaghetti sauce and this pot handles any job I give it with ease. To date, nothing has stuck to the bottom or burned and clean-up is effortless. This was a great find at the "regular" price, but lucky me, I found it on sale through Food Network. Thanks again Food Network !!

My online shopping experience

by Julie, CA
July 17, 2010

Dear Sir or Madam -

Both of these items are of top quality but I was disappointed with the stockpot. I thought it would be larger and I did not care for the graduation of the color. I would have preferred the solid color. I love the All-Clad pan and it compliments all my other pans ferfectly. THE ONLY COMMENT AND CONCERN I HAVE WITH THIS ORDER, IS THAT IT HAS TAKEN SO LONG TO CREDIT MY ACCOUNT FOR THE RETURN OF THE POT. I CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHY IT TAKES SO LONG TO CREDIT MY ACCOUNT WHEN THE MONIES ARE TAKEN IMMEDIATELY FROM MY ACCOUNT WHEN PLACEING THIS ORDER. AS MUCH AS I ENJOY SHOPPING ONLINE, THIS IS A VERY DISCOURAGING FACTOR THAT I WILL CONSIDER IN THE FUTURE.

Respectfully submitted,
Julie Gutierrez

Good Addition

by Ed, CA
August 11, 2009

This is just the right size for 2 people. Have used it many times already for various things as soup, beef burgandy, and of course cooking pasta. I have the complete set of Le Crueset and this is a good addition.

I have one and love it, but purchased this one for my daughter for Xmas, she is always making soups in the winter. It is easy to clean even when something sticks.

This stockpot is a great size. Use it for everything. I love the LeCreuset cookware. Your sales really make it impossible not to buy. The service is great. I love the web site also.

Excellent value on a great brand name

by Theresa, NC

This stockpot has very quickly become one of my "go to" pots in the kitchen. It's smaller size makes it very versatile and highly functional. It's smallersize is however also a problem for cooking for my family of six

Versatile

by Eric, NH
November 29, 2009

It's a good pot to have around due to it's deepness, especially for soups/chili for 4-6. We have noticed that things tend to stick to the bottom, so stirring often is necessary. The Le Creuset label came off during the 2nd or third washing.

First few weeks of use...

by Rick, WI
January 6, 2010

The size of the pot is exactly what I need. The pot heats evenly and quickly. I have used it for making a number of soups and sauces. Only one minor issue: I have noticed that the inside bottom of the pot tends to stain. I have been successful to date in removing the discoloration but have concerns regarding long term use. Overal I am quite satisfied.

Cute Little Pot

by Jennifer, GA
March 9, 2010

Love the color, I got the Lime Green. I think this is a great little stock pot for one person. I live alone and can fix a soup that will last me several days in this. I cook a lot of soups, so this is perfect for me. I wish I had one in that Caribbean Blue. I've been thinking about buying one for my granddaughter.

Weight of materials

by Beth, TX
August 30, 2010

I find the stockpot lighter in weight from other porcelain products and worry it might be easily chipped. Other than that, very happy with product used so far.
