A Bit Disappointed

I was disappointed to learn that the bottom of this product is not finished. In an era where a lot of stove tops are flat surfaced cooktops, taking this dish out of the stove and putting it on your stovetop is not an option. They advise that the product may scrap flat surfaces. So if you are not in a postition to put this directly on an oven mit while it cools or for serving, this is not the product for you.

I like this little casserround a lot. It's a great size and the "handles" are very nice. They make it easy to pick up, even for someone like me who has disabled hands. This is the 2nd one I've purchased, and the lid fits much better than the lid on the other one (larger) that I bought.

May sister asked for this item for her Christmas present. We both love the cool color, the easy to grip handles and the lid. She baked a chicken casserole and was pleased with how it turned out. I hope to be able to get this and other items for myself someday.
