One of the better choices for this type item

by Tony, NC
February 24, 2007

I shopped this type of item a good bit. This purchase replaced one of these that I puchased before. One of the downsides of this product is that it gets bent out of shape easily, and unless it is in exactly the right shape the cans will not flow through correctly. It can get bent out of shape in the shipping process ... and also through extended every-day usage. It is difficult to get it bent back into the correct position because it is difficult to figure out what that position is! The reason I replaced one of the units was because I broke it bending it over and over trying to find the right position. You can avoid this problem by buying a plastic version of this type of item.

On the other hand, at this price, replacing it was not a very big deal.

Most of these kinds of products are designed to hold TWELVE cans. Ok, that works out nice in that it holds exactly the 12-pack of soda you're buying, but the problem is that some refrigerators are not deep enough to hold the 12-can racks. So for me I found this 10-can rack was a better choice. You should measure for fit before you buy this kind of item.

Beverage Can Dispenser

The product is made of flimsy chrome plated wire that easily bends and care must be exercised to insure cans properly dispense. Additionally, 12oz cans vary sometimes in size which then makes the product useless. I would not purchase one again nor would i recommend one.

This beverage can dispenser is a perfect fit for apartment size refrigerators. Great solution for storing several soda options in an office environment.

Not completely thrilled with this can dispenser. The concept is good, but it won't hold a 12 pack of cans.

Beverage Can Dispenser

by Deborah, CA

This product is made out of pretty flimsy plastic and not all size cans fit into it. Unfortunately it is pretty cheaply made and easily cracks. I had no choice in buying this because my fridge has shelves that are not quite as deep as others so this product was the only one with the correct dimensions. I really wanted something to hold soda cans and save space.
I only reccommend this as a last resort. If you can fit one into your fridge that is made out of hard stainless steel, I suggest you buy one of those.

Can Dispenser

by Charles, AZ

Although the construction & chrome finish of this product is sturdy and possibly durable in extended use, the price of almost ten dollars is somewhat extravagant, as I have seen similar items for half this price or less. I have previously purchased a similar rack that was plastic coated rather than chromed for less than six dollars, but was unable to find a source for it.

Works great!

I bought these to replace some plastic ones that never really worked at all, these work great and the cans roll on the metal frame without any resistance. Shipment arrived damaged and on the the dispensers was damaged beyond repair, but I called Cooking.Com and they replaced the damaged one and shipped it to me free and fast, so I am happy.

UNFORTUNATELY IT ARRIVED SLIGHTLY BENT UP BUT WAS ABLE TO STRAIGTEN IT OUT.

WOULD BE BETTER IF IT HELD 12 CANS.

I AM GOING TO ORDER ANOTHER.

The beverage dispenser works great and saves room in the fridge. It also looks better than having 1/2 empty 12 can pack boxes laying around in the fridge. Unlike 12 can pack boxes, as the cans in the dispenser begin to disappear, the top rack can be used to hold other refrigerator items, such as bread or fruits and vegetables.

Style in a fridge is not a priority - but I admit this adds it. Much more attractive than the white plastic kinds! Each different beverage is easily seen, so there is no searching for that one can of Diet Cherry Coke, lol. Highly functional - Great Buy - Fast Shipping, even to AK. THANKS!

Better but not best

by Danai, MO

Still looking for the best but this is an improvement. The length is right for holding 10 cans of pop and fits nicely in my smallish fridge. The cans sometimes have a hard time rolling down into position and can turn sideways and get stuck. The chrome finish looks nice though and it appears to be sturdy otherwise.

It doesn't rust in the refrigerator when it gets wet - works well for soda.

Overall, this product is very good - however, sometimes the cans do not want to slide down the ramp - they sometimes turn - BUT, it has definitely freed up space in the fridge and that alone is worth having to straighten out a can gone wrong every now and then.

The cans get stuck at the back bend. There needs to be a rail on the sides so the cans can not turn. I bent the back lip up a little and it is working better
