The boxes my items came in were damaged and there was a slight dent on the crock pot itself but the item works well.

Almost, but not quite

It's a pretty good crock-pot, if you want something to take all day cooking, It took 101/2 hours to cook vegetable soup, on high. Too long for me. If I wanted to cook something for after work, It would be great.

I bought the slow cooker and the Not your Mothers Slow Cooker recipes and have tried about four of the of the chicken dishes. The chicken was tender and the flavor was wonderful. The slow cooker and the recipes worked together to make great meals.

**Big Dipper and Little Dipper--Stellar!**

by Pamela, NC
January 29, 2007

I like slow cookers. Now, I haven't yet tried the little-dipper, I have constantly used my big-dipper. It's glass lid is a plus as I no longer am overcome with curiosity and just HAVE TO OPEN THE LID to see how the cooking looks. Why I do that anyway, I have no idea, but it used to be a compulsion--which the glass lid help me control. The food cooks nicely. I only cook for 2, but I like to have left overs and meals to freeze for later.

I use my Big-Dipper all the time. I'd buy it again!

I would recommend this product to everyone. I do not usually cook, nor do I know how to cook well, but with this crock-pot I have been able to make all sorts of new things just by following recipes. Worth the price; excellent quality.

I love the size. I can fit the whole meal in at once! However, the outside of the cooker gets pretty hot to the touch, which I don't care for....I also don't think my last slow cooker did this. Other than that, it works well and my last few dinners have come out great. Love the little dipper! Its great for appetizers:)

Good product with only one drawback

by James, NC
April 20, 2008

The crockpot does what it is supposed to do and does it well. It is large, simple to operate and easy to clean. The only drawback is that the stainless steel exterior gets quite hot during operation -- so everyone in the kitchen needs to be aware and exercise caution.

Crock-Pot was a great price, was on sale when I purchased. It also cam with the Little Dipper. This Crock-Pot is the perfect size. It gets a bit warm on the outside, but nothing to be overly concerned about. Best buy so far

I can't really rate ths one. I did not use it. I will be returning the product. When I opened the package the lid for the Little Dipper was missing. It was obvious that the package had been resealed so it was probably a returned item. I purchased a new item so I am not really satisfied on this one and will be returning it for a replacement.

I LOVE IT!!!!!!!! I've used it 4 times, and I've had it less than 2 weeks. Cleans up easily, simply toss the removable pot, and toss it in the dishwasher. Very pretty with my stainless and black kitchen. I even leave it on the counter when not in use, too pretty to hide away......

A few years ago, my original 5 quart crock pot finally died after more than 25 years. I requested a 6 quart and received one that Christmas. It was not the Rival Brand and I have not been comfortable using it.
One of the biggest features I missed was the large lip on the stone wear. I tend to overfill or the juices tend to overfill the pot and they boil over. This one does not have that large lip either and that is the only disappointment.
It does, however, seal better so the
