Great capacity, great blending for texture

I am basically a party chef hosting dinner and events up to 50-60 people. My wife does the organization and presentation and I serve up the cuisine. Typically, I'm a heavy user of my food processor for many dishes when specific cuts for presentation aren't required, but when I started exploring various soups, I could never get the texture I needed from the processor and my old blender was basically useless. Enter this beauty. I must say I'm extremely impressed with it's capacity and ability to control the exact texture of the liquid based on a combination of speed and pulse. From slightly chunky to perfectly smooth (even froth) it's been a real treat adding this tool to my arsenal. As with almost every blender I've tried, pure crushed ice seems to be a challenge, but my frozen drinks with the right amount of liquid don't have a chunk of ice in site. Great Blender

I purchased this to replace my old Cuisinart blender that died a few weeks ago, and so far I have nothing but good things to say about this one. The new one has a larger container (which pours more easily than the old) and crushes ice much more quickly & more efficiently than the old one. The primary use for the blender in our household is iced smoothies, and so far this one is doing the best job of any blender I've owned. It blows through frozen fruit and ice cubes in seconds and leaves a really smooth (i.e. lacking in large ice fragments) mixture behind. I would definitely recommend this blender.

Love the Blender

This is the best blender I have ever had. Its sturdy, its fast, and I love how much it can hold. The only thing I dont care for is the look of the on/off button area. That looks cheap to me. But overall it is a terrific product!

Great blender

Does exactly what you need it to do. I don't use it often but need it when I do. The alcohol drink I like to make includes ice cream so it's perfect for that. And I love having crushed ice. Also good for pureeing food. I would think it would be great for making baby food. It's a great blender and plenty big enough. no complaints.

I would recommend this blender to anyone in need of a quality appliance. The glass jar is so much better than the plastic kind and I like the fact that the bottom of the jar unscrews to clean the washer and blades. We have used this blender almost every day since receiving it!

Powerful Motor and Easy Cleanup

I upgraded from another brand of blender that I had over 15 years (I was finding that the motor didn't have enough power, the blender jar wasn't big enough, and the blender was hard to clean). I cook every day now and I rely more upon quality equipment to make my meals fast and easy. I made my first blueberry smoothie today...it took no time at all, and the best part--the cleanup was super easy! Haven't made any soups or margaritas yet, but I'm sure I'll have no problems. Cuisinart is a name I trust and it delivers!
