Functional and attractive design. Unfinished ceramic interior really does help to minimize caking.

I have looked all over for a red salt pig to go in my Coca-Cola kitchen, and this is perfect. I have gone into stores asking for a salt pig, and they had no idea what I wanted. You have all the latest and best products at great products, and shipping time was phenomenal! Thanks.

This salt pig is just the right size, not too big, not too small. Large enough to hold a good amount of salt, no need for daily refills, but still small enough to fit on top of my stove. Love the yellow color too!

This salt pig is very nice to keep my kosher salt next to the stove. I love the bright yellow as it matches my chantal teapoint in yellow perfectly. I don't know if the bend is supposed to help moisture or things falling in, but I never had an issue with that anyway.

I guess I'm an old dog who already had my cooking habits established. I've never used an open canister of salt in my cooking but liked the idea of it. Now that I've had it in the counter for a few weeks I am wondering if I'll ever get in the habit of it. It was pretty expensive to not make some good use of. It is cool looking though. Who knows, maybe over time I'll come to think of it as indespensible, but for now it seems unnecessary.

This is the first Emile Henry product I have bought. I am impressed with not only the quality but also the beauty of the item! Such a simple design, but such a beautiful one. I will definitely add more Emile Henry items to my kitchen!

I returned my salt pig because the color was nothing like the bright green in the picture, which I really, really wanted.
The color of the salt pig I received was very dull, somewhat gray, and darker than it appears in the picture.
I would have absolutely loved the bright green.
I gave it a decent rating because I assume it's a nice product if you're okay with the color switcheroo.

I HAVE BEEN SHOPPING FOR A SALT PIG AND COULD NOT FIND ONE THAT WAS FUNCTIONAL AND LOOKED GOOD. THIS EMILE HENRY SALT PIG IS REALLY GOOD LOOKING NEXT TO MY STAINLESS RANGE AND IT IS DESIGNED WELL. I THINK IT IS THE PERFECT CHOICE.

I can fit my whole hand in there and get what I need. This is just what we needed. I was afraid at first that I would use too much salt but that wasn't the case. My husband likes to use it as well.
