I love the butter bells. It is the best butter dish that I have ever used! My only wish is that there were a bigger size...one that could accomodate 2 sticks of butter. I come from a big family and a bigger one would be useful at our summer cottage.

L. Tremain is the only trademark to look for. There are immitations out there that are far below the quality expected for the price. The imitations are offered at slightly less price and way less quality.

Slightly high on price....love it, its nice, but drop about $4-$5 bucks and you would sell tons more. The price is keeping many people away from purchasing. Also need more designs

I bought three of these - one for me and two to give as gifts. And we all love them. They really do work.

I've used Butter Bells for many years. They do indeed work, keeping butter soft and fresh outside the refrigerator. During really cold periods when kitchen is cool the butter solidifies but is still workable. During hot periods, even into the 80's it remains fresh and firm. During days of high temperatures I do put it in the refrigerator because the butter melts and slides out of the bowl. During most of the summer, butter is kept soft and fresh for over a week with the use of a bit of water in outside shell to cover the butter.
