Our Cafe Collection Butter Bell crocks were inspired by a recent visit to our favorite French bistro in New York. In keeping with L. Tremain's signature design, each piece has the French word for butter "Beurre" on one side and the word "Butter" on the other side in a raised relief pattern.

    • Personal experience

I have used butterballs for years to store and serve butter. The butter will not stay inserted in the top of this one and I am very disappointed.

    • My cute litte Butter Bell Crock

Was very happy when my Butter Bell Crock was delivered. Couldn't wait to put the butter in it and sit it on my counter. Every time I went to use it the butter was swimming in the water. I was just about ready to box it up and ship it back. Decided to sit down and read the directions again to see if I missed anything. And "yes" I did. I had not packed the butter into it making sure there were no air holes. User error! I went back and re-packed the butter making sure there were no air holes. Ever since then, I have been in love with my cute little Butter Bell Crock.

      I recommend this product.

    • Works great if properly maintained

I change the water every day and make sure no crumbs end up in the butter. It makes a world of difference to have spreadable butter but everyone knows that! Ask yourself how annoying it is to get a hard pat of butter while in a restaurant!

      I recommend this product.

    • So far it is working well in the Arizona weather. We keep the house at 82 degrees in the summer. The butter oversoftened in the regular butter keeper. I do change the water daily during these summer months.

      I recommend this product.

    • Fresh, spreadable butter

It is such a joy to have fresh, spreadable REAL butter available at all times. All I have to do is change the cool water every couple days in the crock. I add an ice cube on real humid days! Very high quality ceramic, beautiful and functionable. The cobalt blue matches my dishes perfectly.

      I recommend this product.

    • Reminder of Old Days

When I was a child I remember that the butter was never kept in the "ice box." Yes, I mean ice box, my grandmother had a small cabinet with a place to put a huge block of ice, and perishables were kept there. The butter was always in a container on the table or countertop. It was always spreadable. At night the butter was set on a window sill where there was cool, fresh air available. Even after the refrigerator arrived in our kitchen the butter was never placed in it. The Bluebell Butter Crock reminds me of those times in a very decorative way and I am so pleased to have it here on my butcher block. Thank you for making available such a useful and lovely addition to my kitchen.

      I recommend this product.

Love my Butter Bell. Product was back ordered, but was worth the wait. I ordered blue to go with my kitchen and it looks great on the counter with my Rachel Ray EVOO Dispenser. Love having spreadable butter anytime. Recommended product to my sister, and she ordered one too. Thanks Food Network!

    • Real Butter, Already Softened

I love gadgets, and this is a neat one to have. It keeps one stick of butter (I like the real deal, pure unsalted butter.) Soft enough for spreading and/or to add to the saute pan pronto. The butter stays in perfect condition--soft but not melted or liquefied. All you have to do is replace the cold water every 3 days or so. It's handy and comes in a variety of colors.

      I recommend this product.

    • Never have to buy spreads again

Today we end up eating so many over processed foods. Some are supposedly heathy for us. But if you buy all natural organic butter and use this dish, you are getting the best for your family. It is fabulous to have spreadable butter without oils and chemicals added. We love it!

      I recommend this product.

    • Nice gadget...needs a bit getting used to

I had never heard of this kind of butter gadget. I bought it at a very small discount. The first time, I let the butter get too soft & it fell in the water. At the second attempt, I made sure the butter wasn't too soft & was able to fully compact the butter into the bell part & it worked!! So, now I'm happy with this butter crock. I didn't want to pay shipping charges to send it back. Read the instructions on the box fully.

      I recommend this product.

    • Butter Bell Crock

We use butter instead of chemicals on our toast. Every morning we need to microwave the butter slightly to soften it for our toast. Now, it is spreadable every morning and ready to use. My only critique is I wish it held two sticks of butter instead of one.

      I recommend this product.
