With the Capresso Coffee And Tea à la Carte, you can brew a full carafe or an individual custom cup of coffee or tea, using the innovative cup-to-carafe brewing system. Capresso Coffee a la Carte system includes two separate filters, one for ground coffee and one for loose leaf tea or tea bags. The brewer also comes with a 42-oz. glass carafe for larger batches of coffee. Adjust coffee's strength by adding as much or as little ground coffee to the filter. The large capacity black coffee filter allows you to add up to 60 grams of coffee (12 Tbsp.) to brew into a single cup to achieve the strongest coffee. The coffee tastes great....however

The however part is that you cannot easily make your coffee in a MUG type cup. Most of them are too tall to fit on top of the cup stand, and if you remove the cup stand there is a disconnect switch that will not let you select cup or large cup with the cup stand removed. There is a work around though....remove the cup stand, remove the stainless steel deck from the cup stand, then put in your average mug (large will not fit) in to the well of the cup stand, then slide the cup and cup stand into the coffee maker.
