A lot of pieces to put together & take apart, though it cleans quite easily; I'm concerned that the remaining pulp still seems quite "juicy" and I have even put it through a 2nd time. This is my 1st juicer, so hard to compare...

I only used the juicer two times and I noticed that the metal juicer blades were cutting the plastic around it. I had to return this product. It has nothing to do with your shop. I have shopped epicurious before and have always been highly satisfied.

Worth it if on sale

I got this juicer on sale so I'm pretty happy with it. If I had paid full price, not so much. It does a great job making juice but it's not super easy to clean, the juice container is a bit small for my needs, and you need to clean it out after each time the small juice container fills up or the pulp gets packed in so tight you have a mess.

Cheaper isn't always better

The simplicity of the juicer is great. The disappointment comes from the amount of remains from the fruit etc. There is a lot of waste. I have not sent it back because it is easy to use and very quick. So I'll just keep using it till it quits working. I had a Hebon (sp) much more expensive, but you had dry pulp and no waste. Bottom line, I tried to save. It doesn't always work! The simplicity of the juicer is great. But there is a lot of waste. I had another juicer that was $400 and I probably should have kept it! I was trying to save $$$. The juicer is OK and makes for a quick glass of juice etc.. I was swayed by the reviews I read and should have bought it locally instead of online.

Not As It Seems

This really isn't as "compact" as it states. It takes up a lot of room if you have almost no countertop space to begin with. The Juice container part doesn't hold much juice. And the part I dislike the most......it's A LOT of work to clean it, & you have to clean it a lot or it gets messy. When you put a vegetble in the chute..it gets all over the top clear part too...like shreds & bits. If you have A LOT of counter space & A LOT of patience, this will work. I have neither. This will be going back.

Compact Juice Extractor

Works great and well. Easy to clean! My only issue is that there is a lot of pulp after the juice. Other than that it i9s a very nice machine.

preparation and cleanup is a pain !

After using this product just twice, I realise that I don'thave the patience to (1) prepare the fruits and vegetables as suggested and (2) cleanup is messy and cumbersome. This is not the product I expected it to be and I am sending it back today.

easy to use and clean...also does a great job

Great juicer for the price, Loving it!

This thing rules, it's a compact version so if you're making a large amount of juice all the time you might want a larger model but for me it's great. As long as I remember to clean it out right away I have no problems. The only hiccup I had was trying to get the blade piece off, usually my hands are wet and cold while i'm taking it apart so my grip is not the best.

Great Product !! Great Price $$$$

Wow I am so impressed with this juicer....it is super powerful and extremely ez to clean. I have been looking to find a juicer that I could depend on without a $200 or $300 price tag...This juicer is the answer....and only $99...unreal! also it is small enough to leave on the counter and barely notice it!! awesome product!!! Love the 16 oz pithcer, and the open close valve. 10 out of 10 in my book!

Smaller Juicer

Having owned another well known juicer which I'll refer to as JL, I was a little skepticle. I was surprised and very pleased with the performance of my new Cuisinart. I Love it.

first juice!

tasted great, I got more juice per piece of fruit or vegetable than I expected. It works well for homemade healthy fruit and vegetable juice concoctions, I would recommend this for anyone!

Excellent small appliance. It did a fabulous job with making fresh squeezed orange juice over the holidays, and I intend on using it extensively with other fruits and vegetables.

I never really liked juice this much.

This juicer is easier to set up, use, take apart and clean than any I have used before. I don't really like vegetables much and I thought I'd try one more (the two others I have used were pretty cumbersome...) before I gave up. This is much easier and so far I have been successful. I have made two different combinations with beets and celery and carrots. And various fruits.
