Ease of use
The stand is too small and falls through the oven rack. When I tried to hang it it tilted back so it couldn't be read unless kneeling down. Plus when returning it cost almost as much to ship as the item itself. I have ordered from you many times before and have never been disappointed until now.

I have used Taylor instruments for many years in manufacuring plants, in fact specified their installation. Their recording instruments are usually the bestand most reliable. That is why I purchased this oven thermometer. The problem is that it clouds up in the inside of the thermometer and I could not read the temperature. Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed.

So glad to finally have an oven thermometer that works correctly! Found out my oven was all over the place and never even near the dial settings - sometimes higher, sometimes lower (it IS over 20 years old, though!). I can finally bake and roast without having to constantly adjust the temperature and guessing at cooking times. A real value for the money!

I knew our apt oven temp control was off, this thermometer confirmed it. 50 degrees off! That would explain my standing rib roast near disaster a few weeks ago. I still use a meat thermometer, but now I know I should set the oven to 300 if I desire 350. Worked like a charm. I keep in hanging in there at all times. Oddly enough I did find too many hot spots when I moved it around to test the temp in different areas of the oven.
