Since I just got the book, the recipes look very delicious and easy to follow the recipe to prepare a delicious meal.

Bought this for my daughter (13) who loves Anne Burrell in all the FN shows and has been inspired to creativity in the kitchen! It was her favorite Christmas gift (well, other than the hockey equipment!)

Most of the recipes in the cookbook are show stoppers and not for beginners, but if you use your head, at least in the ones we have tried, they are really super and turn out delicious.

And that was mostly the intro., her words and I swear that I could hear her talking!! It seems to go beyond just a usual cookbook and is explaining processes and terms (misa en place) and I have not yet run into a stale set recipe. It is just coincidence that I have Chef Lidia's cookbook, whom Anne uses as an example of women chefs in Italy. I cannot wait to try the gnocchi, esp. since I learned that she loves Italian food, as I am partial to Italy myself. Anybody investing in this cookbook is lucky indeed!

I would regularly check bookstores for something by chef Anne Burrell but would always leave empty handed.I was thrilled when i saw she finally had a book so I ordered it for myself as my Christmas gift to me. I give great gifts. I enjoy watching her show because she explains things in a way anyone can understand. When she tells you to taste it-it should be REALLY good she means it and it usually is. I love the book and her recipes from her show that aren't in this book. Hopefully there will be another book in the future. Side note she would have been a great Iron Chef. When's Jeffrey's book coming out?

Anne makes it very easy to follow and also gave me new ingredients to try that I wouldn't have thought of otherwise. The recipe's I've tried are very good. I also love her explanations for some of her words like btb,(bring to boil), and (rts (return to simmer).
