Love this book! I purchase it for my niece who watches Anne Burrell on the Food Network. I thumbed through and kept some recipes before giving it to my Niece for Christmas.

I LOVE WATCHING ANN BURRELL ON FOOD NETWORK. EVERYTHING SHE MAKES LOOKS SO GOOD. WHEN I START MAKING SOME OF THE RECIPES, I WILL POST MY REVIEW AGAIN ON FOOD NETWORK.

I appreciate her Italian training and many of her receipes are from my Italian backround. My "Nonna's" and Mother taught me everything, including not much measuring "you just know how much" or "you just know by the feel, taste and smell". I've tried 2 receipes from this book with Chef Burrell's twist and everyone in my family loved them! Can't wait to try more! When reading this book you feel like you can hear her talking to you...She is a Rock Star Excellent!

I have not tried any recipes yet, nor have I had time to completely read the whole book. I am very satisfied with my purchase and look forward to Cooking Like A Rock Star. One of the first things I do when I get a new cookbook (I have over 100)is to randomly open the book and look at the recipe. If it is a recipe I would use in my home and ingredients I have, I can't wait to use it. Cook like a rock star fits that category. I starting cooking from it on the first day I received it. It is readable and helpful. A hit in my house.

I've been waiting for her to produce a cookbook and was very pleased to find out that her book matches her personality and style. Explanations are plentiful and in "For Dummies" English. Photos help, and the mis en place instructions make these recipes almost fool-proof. Best cookbook I've ever bought!
