The blender jar will jump right off the blender base unless you hold it onto it while the blender is operating. This isn't mentioned in the instruction manual, nor did I notice that it was mentioned in any reviews. At first, you think that you must not have the jar seated properly. Then you realize that it's just a wacky, somewhat disturbing feature of the thing. We use our blender exclusively for making smoothies. We add the juice first, then the frozen fruit, as instructed. I.e., we are using it properly.

This is smaller than I expected it looked much larger capacity in the description so at first I was disappointed for the cost expected for a price of $200 to be a much larger especially as it was listed as professional blender. But it makes great smoothies no bits of spinach are left over in our drinks so that is great.

We use our blender daily, so after 3 blenders in 5 years, I decided to splurge on this after a friend recommended it. Best decision... It is amazingly quiet, SO easy to clean, and works perfectly. Worth every penny.

I looked at this blender on food network and thought that the glass container looked a lot bigger in the photos, then it was. Everything else I have bought from Food Network was exactly as it appeared to be and I was extremely satisfied. This glass container does not hold very much at all. The blender is very nice looking, just too small.
