My husband loves to eat, so he doesn't mind being the taster for what comes across his plate. Mystery meat ... yea, sometimes. Give this book as a gift, but get one for yourself. He really got into a lot of strange places. He is right about good food - don't pass up new 'joints' - they might hold new wonders on the road to 'flavorland'. Now I can cook all those heartattach food items in my own home! Only wish we had one close to where I live. Love the show and the book.

Not many big names give credit to small-town places and Guy does just that. If you're a fan of the show, you will LOVE this book!

I received it from my husband, and it was everything I expected and more. I have already prepared many dishes from it and am in love with all of them.
