Patrick and Gina Neely are owners of Neely’s Bar-B-Que in Memphis and Nashville and hosts of the Food Network series Down Home with the Neelys. They have been married since 1994 and live in Memphis with their two daughters (and scores of other kin nearby).
This is the first book I have bought from The Neelys and I enjoyed it. Simple recipes with well known ingredients..I like it!

I have only tried a few of the recipes, as of yet, but each one that i have tried have turned out as good as i had expected. I enjoy the Neely's show, and recommend this book to all whom love their southern cooking.

Since I'd not actually seen the book but saw recipes that I thought looked good, I searched for it on Food Network. While I've not had a chance to thoroughly look at it, I love the stories behind the recipes and the pictures of them throughout the years. I can't wait to start trying some of the recipes, they look delicious!

this couple cooking up a storm on Food Network. They not only make great
food but provide a positive role-model of marriage and family for all of
us. I just love the chemistry between them!!
I really like the fact that this book kind of tells the whole store about Pat and Gina and their business. The recipes are full of flavor and easy to prepare. Everyone has always loved everything I made from this book and their show. It's a winner.

I ordered two books and gave one to my son-in-law as he cooks alot outdoors on his grill and smoker. The recipes look delicious and yet seem simple enough for the average chef. I developed a taste for marinated and BBQ foods. Thanks for the fast & speedy delivery.

Because of the recipes I've seen them prepare on TV, I decided to buy their book. I don’t usually buy cook books on line, but thought it’s from the Food Network how could I go wrong. Well, I was extremely disappointed to find that there are very few pictures of the recipes but a huge amount of pictures of them and their family. I thought this was a cookbook not an auto-biography. People like to see what the food will look like when it’s done. Or at least I do.

Spent the rest of the evening reading and bringing myself up to date with information about the Neelys and, of course, their "out of sight" recipes. I was amazaed they were willing to enlighten everyone with their original home recipes and techniques. This is one of the best cookbooks I have ever bought and have already tried some of their recipes. I would recommend it to any and everyone. Thank you Gina and Pat, you are the greatest. I am an avid watcher of your tv show.

Before I ordered this cookbook, I would have a pen and paper to write down, if not ALL the recipes, MOST of them. I was a little disappointed to find that their cookbook did not have all the recipes that they do on the show, such as the Chicken and Dumplings, Peach Fritters w/ Orang Glaze, Neely's Egg Benedict on a Pork Croquette. Is it because the shows that are aired within the past couple months are a new season and have not yet been able to form into a cookbook? Will their be a new cookbook coming soon?
