Soups On

Love my new pot - it completes me!! I was a little worried about the clean up after making soup, but it looks brand new after each dish I've cooked. The pumpkin soup garnished with bacon and sage; and the ham and split pea garnished with croutons and balsamic were delicious - and I'm sure my new pot helped!!

It is a gift. Not yet given.

It is going to young former Univ Minn student working in Madison with two roommates.She is coming home this fall.She'll get it then. We bought it because the company has a good reputation.I use mine all the time.We'll know how it is received shortly. I live alone now.I used to cook A LOT for my family.

Expensive but wortth it.

Le Cruset makes some of the most wonderful cast iron pots out there and this smaller size is perfect for my single person household. I love the choice of colors as well. The enamel is easy to clean even when you don't stir quite often enough. I love. love. love this French oven.

best lil french oven

I love, love, love this french oven. The size is perfect for smaller meals. It cleans beautifully. The color brings sunshine to my kitchen!

Love it!

My new favorite pan! The 3.5 Qt. is smaller, yes, but that means not so heavy - yippee! I love the size, and find it cooks and bakes nearly everything for 3 - 4 people just fine. I've owned the far, far heavier 5 Qt beast for years, and it sits on display now unless I want to make gumbo for 12.

LeCruset for Oven meals.

Nothing braises meat like a LeCrueset pot. This is a great size for serving sides. It makes the best pot roasts, stews, anything braised. Be sure to read the instructions before you use it for the first time.

LeCreuset French cooking pots are a standard wedding gift that my wife and I give to our nieces and nephews because they last forever and are of the highest quality.

I love these pans. This is my second LeCreuset pan and like a fine wine, they make everything cooked in it better!

Why did i wait so long?

Have wanted one of these for years. I absolutely LOVE it!

Excellent cookware. I've had it for one week and used it twice. Both times the dish being prepared turned out great! I really like the slow cooking in the oven after browning the meat. The end product was tender and juicy. I am confident this cookware will get a lot of use in my kitchen. I am impressed with the high quality of the Le Creuset dish. I will consider buying more of this brand.

Pan Size

I do wish that the ad had made the size of the pan clearer. I did not realize that my old pan was quite as large as it apparently was. This cooks a small roast very nicely, but it won't do a whole chicken.

When this was delivered I could tell by the box it was the wrong dutch oven. I thought I was ordering the one with the higher sides. That's what the picture represented to me. I'll use it, as I love LaCreuset, but even though it was on sale still very pricy. Won't be ordering from you for awhile.

I've been wanting this size dutch oven for quite some time now, but the prices are so high. My 6.5 qt was a gift. Also, I MUST have yellow since my first was yellow and I have yellow baking dishes, a yellow coated cast iron fry pan, etc. I used it for the first time yesterday, made a "quick" risotto and it came out beautifully! Love these dutch ovens!

I have been wanting one of these for a long time. Finally treated myself. I'm worth it. It is great. Glad I got it.

Le Creuset is the best!!

I love this French Oven!! Have made soup, roast, and even baked mac n cheese!! Cleans up beautifully!! My oven did however arrive with some flaws but chose not to return. Works great!!

Wonderfu! Especially on sale!

What a treat to be able to buy this on sale. I have this repeatedly since it has arrived with fabulous results. Cooking has included homemade soups, stews and braises with great success. Long time simmers with no worry of scorching.

Perfect Size for Me

I'm delighted with this pot. I can saute in it and then braise my food without changing pans. And it is the perfect size and weight for me to handle and lift.

Small..does 3.5 quarts fit????

The photo is misleading, I thought I was ordering the oval pot, so I was disappointed to see it was round. But you still can't go wrong with LeCruset and the cooking quality of the pan. This will be a gift.

No improvement for a high price

I own a 6-qt. round Cooks oven and it has served me well. The 3.5-qt. round French oven by Le Creuset has no discernible improvement over the Cooks oven at a quarter the price. The quality is good, but the price is way out of line.
