Disapointing as it does not allow for calibration @ 212F. My guess is that is accurate enough, based on my limited experience.

easy to read!

We love this thermometer! We can't believe how large the numbers are, and really like the adjustable red marker that we can set on the temp we want to reach.

Easy Read Meat Thermometer

I live in a mostly rural area and I often cannot find the products that I want. Shopping on the internet is a must. My meat thermometer recently broke and I could not find it in any stores I went to. I found it in the Food Network Website. This thermometer is easy to use and very easy to read. I look forward to using it next time I roast a roast. Thanks for providing an exceptional product.

It thinks water boils at 208 degrees

by Elizabeth, WA

The first thing I did was to test this thermometer. I put it in boiling water and waited for it to come up to temperature. The highest temperature it registered was 208 degrees. It should have come up to at least 211 degrees. We live about 500 feet above sea level so water boils here at just under 212 degrees. I won't use this thermometer since I don't believe it will accurately measure the temperature inside the meat. I'm disappointed since it was reviewed as being very accurate.
