A Working Egg Cooker at Last!

I have been using an egg cooker for years, About six months ago, my egg cooker stopped cooking eggs. I went out and bought a new cooker (different brand) but it would not cook hard boiled eggs well. The centers were always runny. I purchased another (well known brand) cooker but got the same poor results, so I went back to boiling the eggs. When I saw the Krups model advertised, I thought I would try once more. Last night I unpacked the cooker, put in seven aggs, and presto - great hard boiled eggs as promised. I couldn't be happier!

My husband loves eggs but is the worst at cooking them. He's now retired and tries to help out in the kitchen more than my patience will tolerate. This egg cooker may save our marriage - he can make hard boiled eggs, poached eggs and they always come out just right. Best of all, I don't have to drop what I'm doing every time he wants an egg cooked!

Krups Egg Cooker and Poacher

This product arrived in good condition. I've tried cooking eggs medium because that's the way my husband and I like them. I've tried poached eggs too. They all came out very well. The instructions were easy to follow. Next to try are hard-boiled eggs for egg salad sandwiches. The compact size means it can be stored in a small space in your kitchen cabinet. I have mine in the small cabinet above the stove. I like this product a lot and would recommend it to others.

I purchased this product a year ago. It is the greatest since raindrops. It cooks soft cooked, hard cooked or medium cooked without checking the time, the temp. or whatever. I gave one to one daughter for her birthday, and she cooked an egg for her son who is in college. He was so excited about it, that he asked for one for Christmas. So, he is getting it from his Grandma. I'm giving one to my other dauhter for Christmas also.

It does what it is supposed to do.

I bought this as a gift for a friend. She is just tickled with it. She tells me her eggs are perfect everytime, and she can leave the eggs cooking and go into another room and still hear the timer go off. I expect that I will buy one for myself when the egg cooker I have craters.

This product boils eggs just fine. What it can't do is poach an egg with yolk. The yolk always ends up hard. If I do lessen the time of cooking then the egg is runny. I have used 2 dozen eggs experimenting with the poaching. Well, live and learn.

The picture on the websitemakes the product look bigger than it really is. This is my first egg cooker and I use it frequently. It's great for making hard boiled eggs without burning them. My only complaint would be that the yolk in some of the eggs wasn't completely cooked through. I suggest adding more water than the measurer allots to completely cook the egg.

Cooks soft eggs to perfection as well as hard cooked eggs. Cleans easily overall a very good product.

Perfect size for limited counter space. Cooks quickly and easy to clean.

I have used it frequently for several weeks now. It has performed very nicely. I am very happy with it and would definitely recommend it. There are a couple minor things I would like to see improved upon though. I would like to see it made a little larger so you could poach more than two eggs at a time. The number of eggs you can hardboil could be increased also. If that number were any less than it's current capacity, I would probably hesitate at purchasing it. One change that would sidestep this would be lowering the wait time between batches, which is currently 30 minutes. However, I don't know how this could be accomplished, given the current design. But overall, I'm very pleased with it! The Krups family has a reputation for quality products that goes back many years.

This is the second egg cooker I bought. I wore out the first one! I don't even know how long to boil an egg anymore, I'm so used to using this product. Hard boiled eggs, perfect every time.

Love this Egg Cooker

I use this egg cooker almost daily and really like it. It perfectly cooks soft and hard boiled eggs. So helpful to have a handle on the basket. Makes it easier to carry the hard boiled eggs to cool down without burning myself.

I agree with Howard from Naperville, you need to figure out just the right amount of water, however it is simple to use and makes the best eggs ever!!!
