This egg cooker holds up to seven eggs for boiling to your liking - soft, medium or hard and fits all size eggs. A signal alerts you when they're finished cooking - just remove them or flip the switch to keep them warm. Afterwards, the egg holder slips out so you can rinse them under cold tap water without having to touch each one still hot from boiling. In addition to boiling, you can also poach two eggs - two trays are included. This cooker has a water level indicator and comes with an egg piercer. The lid and holder are both dishwasher-safe.

I have had a Krups Egg Cooker for 3 yrs and its been one of the best cookware I have ever owned. I probably cooked over 2400 eggs in this period, mostly at 3 eggs at a time and is still performing well. I choose to buy 2 more units, one for a xmas present and the other for my self as a extra as I have had a hard time finding this unit in department stores. When I found this unit on "cooking. com" I was relieved but was'nt going to take any chances in not finding this unit in the future, so I bought a extra. In conclusion, this is a Great unit.

Our family likes hard-boiled eggs, and since we did not have a machine that does it, and this was so reasonably priced (and from Krups, which we have had very good luck with) we decided to give it a try. The machine is very simple to operate: measure the amount of water in the flask supplied according to number of eggs and type of cooking (soft, medium, hard boiled), pierce the eggs with the needle on the bottom of the flask, put the top on and go. As I mentioned, our family prefers hard boiled eggs, so that's all we've tried. The eggs come out perfectly no matter how many we make at one time. Careful, they are very, very hot. There is a small amount of cleanup on the base of the machine after boiling but it is easy with a small amount of soap/water and a non-stick scrub sponge. You can also poach eggs with enclosed inserts, which we have not tried yet. Overall, we are very pleased with the simplicity and speed of this egg cooker.

Krups Egg Cooker

The Krups Egg Cooker and Poacher is a great product. My mother had a similar item in her kitchen that she has been using for over 50 years. I was very happy to find one of these on Cooking.com because my family enjoys hard-boiled eggs, and always complained that eggs cooked in boiling water were hard to peel. Using the Krups egg cooker, hard-boiled eggs cook quickly, and are very easy to peel!

It cooks eggs just perfect every time without having to watch the clock - poached, soft cooked, hard cooked - it does it just right.

Great new appliance

I bought one of these about 2-3 years ago and use it at least twice each week. We are so pleased with the results that we have bought one for my son, for my daughter, and this one is for my 87 year old mother. Everyone loves it! Easy to use, easy to clean, and if you boil eggs, the shells almost come off by themselves.
I don't usually recommend products to anyone, but I recommend this one whole heartedly!

I was so frustrated trying to make a hard boiled egg (one that would peel without removing half or all of the white), I finally broke down and bought this Krups cooker. I have to say, I have used it repeatedly and every single time, every egg is cooked to perfection and the peel comes off leaving the egg intact. It is compact, easy to use/clean and does not take up a lot of cupboard space.

Krups Egg cooker

by Laura M, CO

I had another egg poacher product for years and finally gave up purchasing replacement trays which only seemed to last a year or so. I finally decided to try another brand. I like this product. It is easy to use and clean. However, the directions would have been difficult to decipher had I not been used to using this type of product. In addition, the poaching trays are too large for most eggs. I use only large AA eggs and they came out so thin (and would not even cover the bottom of the tray) that I now use the poaching trays from my other brand, which works quite well.

I like the egg cooker but the centers on the eggs do not get as done as I would prefer. Also, when it finished cooking the first time it seemed to have slight damage to the metal finish in the bottom so I wonder how long it will last. The cooker works fine otherwise.

I really like my new egg cooker. I have used it both for hardboiling and poaching eggs. I especially like that I can turn it on and then go on with the other things I need to do. The cooker signals when the eggs are finished. It is great!

Great Eggs

by Alicia, CA
October 26, 2007

I have purchased about eight of these egg cookers for friends and family. I send them for hostess gifts and just to share the fun! They are great for so many uses! Hard boiled eggs peel so easily and the yolks are always in the center which makes them great for deviled eggs!! Soft boiled,in minutes!

Krupps Egg Cooker

Positive Comments: Neat and attractive. Can be left on counter tops without being unattractive. Ease of operation. We use it only for poaching eggs.
Negative Comments: When water for poaching is placed into the cooker and the power is turned on, the light is supposed to go off when the eggs are ready. Doesn't work! We have to set our old manual timer for the estimated time of cooking. It is a two egg poacher and the plastic containers for the eggs are large and convenient to use. However, there is no consistency in the way the two eggs are cooked. One will be over cooked while the other egg is not quite ready. We loved poached eggs and were hoping that this would be the ideal cooker. However, the timer does not work properly and the eggs are not consistently the same in the cooking process. We have used the cooker for three weeks.

It's OK, but thought I could do more poached

by Lynda, NV

It's an OK product - works fine, but I though I could do more that 2 poached eggs at a time - you're only supposed to to two. We did four and it took quite a while for them to get done enough. Next time, I'll just start the toast a little later!!

We love the egg cooker we ordered. The two things we like the most is the egg punch tool that keeps the eggshell from cracking during cooking and the handle on the cooker that allows us to immediately rinse and cool the eggs.

I really like the egg cooker. It is convienant to store. I especially like the way the cord wraps around the bottom! The only thing I was disappointed in was the number of eggs it holds. My old one held eight eggs. That holder also was aluminum. I'm not sure how long this plastic holder will perform without breaking. Otherwise, I'm hoping it lives up to it's great name!

Great poached eggs

by Connie, CO
September 2, 2007

I love the poached eggs this cooker makes. I had another egg cooker which did 4 poached eggs at a time and they were so thick (because the containers were so small) that most of the time the whites didn't get cooked and were really snotty looking. These poached eggs come out perfect everytime, whether I want the yellow soft or hard. I like the way it cooks the hard boiled eggs too. The

KRUPS EGG COOKER

Great product! I looked at alot of egg cookers. I could only find 2 models in local stores and the mall. You couldn't see through the lid on either of them. It is great to have one that isn't shaped oval like an egg. You can see through the lid too, which is a great feature!
This comes with everything and cooks the perfect egg. I give it a

Love This Egg Poacher/Cooker

by David, WA
April 30, 2008

This is a great little egg cooker. I had an egg poacher/cooker several years ago, but it was a nightmare to clean. This one is as easy as can be, and the poached eggs slide right out with cooking spray. It also cooks a perfect hard boiled egg with precision. I was initially a little skeptical about purchasing another one at that price, but the KRUPS name made me take a chance. I am glad that I bought one!
