I love this little gadget! The only reason I didn't give it a 5 was because it gets REALLY hot and the instructions say not to put cold water on it. I had to either scoop it up with a spoon or pick it up with a towel. Not a bad thing, just not PERFECT! HA! The price I think is a tad high, but not high enough that I didn't buy 5 of them (1 for myself, and 4 to give as prizes for a "Welcome to the Nest" baby shower - they were a HUGE hit!)

I have yet to pull the eggs at the right time. Fortunately I mainly cook the eggs hardboiled so timing isn't as crucial. We eat a lot of hard boiled eggs in my house, I boil 3 dozen at a time 2-3 times a week, was hoping this would help me get it exactly right and maybe they would ALWAYS be easy to peel.

This product gives you perfectly cooked hard boiled eggs. Of course you have to watch it as it starts to turn color and stop the cooking on time. It really does a great job.
