Love the color, it is such a good size for so many things. The handle is a great hand fitting size.

It is a beautiful casserole dish, that is the perfect size for the family, or to take over to somebodies house for a pot luck. With the lid it transports really well, and it is cute.

The size is perfect for a family of 4! So many covered baking dishes are too big and this is not only gorgeous - I love the shade of deep purple - but very practical.

I bought this to bake my sourdough bread in, which bakes at 450 deg. I haven't used it yet, since the first one arrived broken. (Replacement was a breeze.)
I hope the glaze stands up to the heat, since the specs on the description show baking temps allowed up to 500 deg.
It is perfect for my bread, with its straight sides and lid to hold the steam in! It's definitely a very pretty color. I wouldn't want a whole set though; I don't have a large kitchen and I doubt the different sizes would stack well.

Ordered the lg casserole 4 qt.also. Both in eggplant. Colors are not the same. Lg casserole darker eggplant. Would be nice if they had matched. Overall I liked it. cleans up well and looks good. p.s. love the handles.

Okay. Shipping was swift and the casserole was superbly packed...it probably withstood several drop-kicks by the shipper (who shall remain nameless). When I got it, first thing was to wash it. No problem in the dishwasher. THEN, I made a casserole of ground turkey, whole-wheat rotini, feta cheese, and tomato slices. Came out evenly cooked, and delicious. Ran it through the dishwasher again...no problems. Love the color, and extremely well-designed...especially for a bachelor who cooks for himself (and sometimes that 'special someone of the moment').
