We love this Rachael Ray 6.5-in. Tools & Gadgets Bench Scrape for scraping and dividing bread dough as we work it on a dough board, but it actually does a whole lot more and is destined to become one of the hardest-working tools in your kitchen. Use it to carry mountains of diced vegetables to your wok for a savory stir-fry, or reach for it to transport oodles of potatoes to your stock pot for homemade potato soup. Its stainless steel blade is durable and tough enough to hold up to rigorous use in a busy kitchen, and its specially designed nylon handle is ribbed for ease of grip when shoveling piles of chopped veggies from point A to point B. We think this tool is just the thing for scraping up waste and trimmings to transfer to your trash bin or GB bowl while prepping food, and it's dishwasher safe, so cleanup after prep requires minimal effort.
Best Used For:
Turn to this Rachael Ray bench scraper for a myriad of kitchen tasks, including crushing ginger or garlic cloves or smoothing out the top of a freshly frosted cake.
Scraping blade is made from stainless steel for long-lasting performance
Ribbed handle features an easy-grip design and is made of nylon for longevity
Large scoop design makes it easy to clean up after prepping food
I love this thing. I bought a different kind of bench scrapper, but it didn't have the cool sides on it to keep the food from sliding out both ends. This is great. Very effective and easy to hold and manipulate. You can really scoop up a lot of ingredients at one time! Thanks Rach!
I have bought other scrapers in the past and they were uncomfortable to hold and didn't scrape things up easily. I made homemade pot pie last week and this worked perferctly to scrape and lift the dough off the counter because I roll my dough very thin and other scrapers would smash the dough or tear it.
I have purchased many of your kitchen products and I must say I love them all. This Bench Scraper is great and it lets me lift the chopped vegetables in one swoop and nothing on the floor. You are extremely innovative and the colors spice up any kitchen. Thank you Rachel for your products. It lets me enjoy my cooking even more.
I love the Rachel Ray Bench Scrape, and so pleased to find it on the Cooking.com website. I see Rachel use this item almost everyday, and I have tried to find it in stores. Now, I can be just like Rachel when chopping vegies and putting them in the pot. I bought 2 additional bencn scrapes to give to my daughters-in-law for Mother's Day.
I realized I needed a bench scraper while making pizza and other baked things. I saw Rachael using her orange one on her show and decided to search around on the internet to find one like it. It is very handy and it looks like it is well made. It looks like the apple pie will be an easier job this year.
This is such a handy kitchen utensil! Works great for gathering veggies, scraping dough, and cleaning off counters and cutting boards. It is quickly becoming the most frequently used tool in my busy kitchen! I don't know how I lived so long without one. It's a terrific gift idea too!
This scrape saves so much time and product. Picking up the chopped onions, peppers, celery, etc. is so much easier using this scrape. I always managed to drop some on the floor or the sink, but using this has eliminated this loss of chopped veggies and nuts. Thanks for such a great idea.
