We love this Rachael Ray 6.5-in. Tools & Gadgets Bench Scrape for scraping and dividing bread dough as we work it on a dough board, but it actually does a whole lot more and is destined to become one of the hardest-working tools in your kitchen. Use it to carry mountains of diced vegetables to your wok for a savory stir-fry, or reach for it to transport oodles of potatoes to your stock pot for homemade potato soup. Its stainless steel blade is durable and tough enough to hold up to rigorous use in a busy kitchen, and its specially designed nylon handle is ribbed for ease of grip when shoveling piles of chopped veggies from point A to point B. We think this tool is just the thing for scraping up waste and trimmings to transfer to your trash bin or GB bowl while prepping food, and it's dishwasher safe, so cleanup after prep requires minimal effort.
Best Used For:
Turn to this Rachael Ray bench scraper for a myriad of kitchen tasks, including crushing ginger or garlic cloves or smoothing out the top of a freshly frosted cake.
Scraping blade is made from stainless steel for long-lasting performance
Ribbed handle features an easy-grip design and is made of nylon for longevity
Large scoop design makes it easy to clean up after prepping food
I love this thing. I bought a different kind of bench scrapper, but it didn't have the cool sides on it to keep the food from sliding out both ends. This is great. Very effective and easy to hold and manipulate. You can really scoop up a lot of ingredients at one time! Thanks Rach!
I have bought other scrapers in the past and they were uncomfortable to hold and didn't scrape things up easily. I made homemade pot pie last week and this worked perferctly to scrape and lift the dough off the counter because I roll my dough very thin and other scrapers would smash the dough or tear it.
What can I say...it's a scraper that performs as expected. Not sure about the value...your format won't permit me to continue, so I have said yes, but I have my doubts. I'm tempted to discontinue now...this is a pain.
I have bought several of these always gave them away as gifts and everyone just loves it the sides on it really helps to pick up things off the counter without falling off great product everything we have bought off the racheal ray products has been very good love it all have a set off the pots and pans and several off the knifes all products are excellent thank you
This kitchen gadget is the best in moving chopped ingredients from chopping surface to cooking pot or scrapping work surfaces when baking. It also makes a good aid when cleaning work surfaces. I use the scraper almost dailey. I have recommended the scraper to all my cooking friends and plan to buy them as gifts for Christmas.
My blue scraper comes in very handy when I have lots of vegetables to chop. Very easy to handle and pick up everything neatly to put in my pots or bowls. Thanks so much. I have been looking for something like this. Great kitchen helper.
Absolutely love the bench scrape by Rachel Ray. It is my steady companion in the kitchen to scoop up cut veggies, etc. Very sturdy and looks like it will have a long life. When top chef Michael Symon was on the show he said he felt naked in the kitchen without a bench scrape. That says it all!!
