I needed a new electric knife and looked at many. I decided on the Cuisinart for the price, the two different blades it came with, and the Cuisinart name. I was not disappointed. Both blades perform beautifully and I love the storage tray.
I needed a new one, my old one just wasn't cutting it. The storage for the knife, blades and cord were an added plus. This knife is perfect for slicing turkey, beef ham. My daughter used it for slicing bread. She liked it so much she ordered one. I also like the ergonomic handle. I have arthritis in my hands.
I love the Cuisinart Electric Knife, however the first knife I recieved had a defective motor. It motor labored when in use. Cooking.com stood behind my purchase and replaced the electric knife. I am enjoying the replacement and have not had a problem with it to date. Cooking.com was a pleasure to do business with and made the process simple. My thanks to Cooking.com
I bought this electric knife as a gift for my lady friend and had it shipped from Cooking. com. It arrived sooner that I had antisipated in perfect condition and my sweetheart was completely ecstatic at the appearance and quailty of a gift I know she will treasure for years to come.
Even though this seems like a bit pricey...It is the best electric knife we have ever owned. Its overall look is quite stylish , and the handle is actually ergonomic! The two different serrated blades are a blessing , as one works wonderfully on meats and the other on everything else ( breads , cakes , etc.).
This is a perfect gift for that person in the kitchen , or just for yourself to make life that much easier.
I bought this product because we like to get fresh bread, which is hard to cut with a regular knife without pressing the bread down too hard. So far we are very happy with the knife and it lives up to our expectations.
I have never owned an electric knife before. The main reason is that I tried friends electric knives and they were difficult to handle and clumsey. I absolutely love this knife. It has two sets of blades and it cuts through prime rib like butter. I'd recommend it to anyone who is in need of the perfect carving knife.
Better than the cheaper products by far. The last 'cheaper brand' burned up the week before Christmas so my wife had an early present. Although it was not a romantic gift, it will likely get lots of use.
I find that the blades do not fit completely into socket however I read in the instructions that it is possible that they will not. The instructions could be better. I also found that I could have bought the knife here at an Electric Appliance Store and I would have saved at least the shipping and handling.I thought that it was not possible to buy the Knife in Canada. Otherwise you did a good job of looking after the order. I am a little [ disappointed.
My first knife I "burned out" the gears, it would appear. It was really great on my poor arthritic hands enabling me to easliy trim artichocks in preparation for cooking. I was made to realize that is probably not a recommended use and I will limit my use of this new one to bread and meat.
