this knife does the job and thanksgiving was a great time to show off it assets. Carving turkey and ham were a breeze.

I gave this knife to my husband for his birthday as he has asked for an electric knife. He opened it Thanksgiving morning and we used it to carve the turkey. It cut beautifully, but produced a horrible "electric" smell which filled the dining room with a horrible odor. Have not tried it again, but it seemed that carving the turkey was too much for the motor. Perhaps there were directions to "break it in" prior to use, but I did not have the time to read over all the directions. Would think putting blades into an electric knife would be idiot proof.

I received Food Network's email advertising this Quisinart electric knife normally $80 on sale for $54.95. What perfect timing, it reminded me our old electric knife broke while carving our Thanksgiving turkeys last year. So I immediately purchased it and I am happy I did. My husband and my son-in-law (he's a chef) were pleasantly surprised at the ease of carving our turkeys and ham this Thanksgiving Day. These knives slice with the ease of professional chef knives, are of high quality, had a great sale’s price, and look very attractive in its storage tray. I highly recommend this product.

Beautiful display

The display stand makes the knife easily available on the counter so I will be using it more often.

The knife functions well mechanically, but heats up and stops when used with a thick hard home made bread crust.

I got this for my Mother at Christmas.Her electric
knife was poor quality and she was afraid to use it.
She was so happy when she opened the present to find this electric knife. She has used it several times already and says it does a great job.
You can't go wrong with Cuisinart!

Works for me....

The product worked just fine for the items for which it was designed (i.e., meat, baked goods). Sliced a tenderloin roast like butter.

Had a little more issue cutting up a watermelon, but did get the job done!
