This cookbook is absolutely wonderful for the pre-teen to teenage cook-in-the-making. And, the mini geography/history lessons about each dish were fantastic. Well done, Emeril!

My son came home from the school library with "There's a Chef in My family" and we loved it! So it has become a tradition for him to get me these books. Not only do we spend time in the kitchen together with a very family friendly book, but the recipes are wonderful! Emeril has great recipes and with the easy to follow, child-friendly book series, we can all be chefs! Thanks, an absolutley wonderful book!

Emeril is an awesome chef, no doubt about it. Some of the recipies in the book are a little too advanced for the beginning chef, both in terms of difficulty level and palate.
