I love my new kitchen aid stand mixer. I had the 5 quart for 22 years and it is a work horse. I just wanted a bigger one. I am thrilled with this item. Love the dough hook. Whipped up my homemade pasta with ease!! I look forward to many more years of great recipes being made with this!!

My Only Complaint

The only complaint that I have is after I have had this mixer for a while I got an e-mail from food network for a discount on attachments for my mixer. The pasta attachment was sold out and I could not even back order this item.. Thats It!

All I Wanted and More

Love everything about this mixer. It does what it's supposed to do. I've waited for years to get a kitchen aid stand mixer and I'm glad I got the professional 6-qt. model.

The only things I don't like has to do with its heavy-duty nature. The bowl is a little heavy so your arms get tired after scraping it clean. And the mixer is so big it won't fit on my counter straight on; I have to keep it at an angle to keep the base on the counter. The mixer is also so heavy that I get my husband to take it out from the cupboard.

KitchenAid 7qt. stand mixer

I am a cookie baker for my own business. I purchased this item so I could make larger batches of cookie dough. That is the only feature I am happy with, the size of the bowl. I also have a Kitchenaid stand mixer 4.5qt which I love. The motor on the 7qt mixer has a very high pitched whining sound, the steel paddle is already chipping & I do not like the fact that you can only lower the bowl without tilting the top back. I have to struggle to get the paddle out of the cookie dough.
