How It Works
If you should find a lower advertised price on an in-stock, identical item from one you purchased from us, you can submit a Price Match request up to 14 days after your purchase.
Forward your order confirmation email or send an email to email@example.com and include a link to the retailer's website promotion with the lower price. Please include "Price Match" in the subject line of the email.
Once approved, the price match will be calculated and refunded based on the item price. (Note that some exclusions may apply to keep things on the up and up.)

The overachiever of the stand mixer family, it has a Flour Power Rating of 14 cups. That means it can mix enough dough for 8 loaves of bread or 13 dozen cookies in a single bowl. All you have to do is hope they're hungry.
6-Quart Polished Stainless Steel Wide-Mouth Bowl with Contoured Handle
Soft Start® Mixing Feature
Direct Drive Transmission, All-Steel Gears, and All-Metal Construction
Want to make several batches of cookies at once? The larger size mixer promises great results and doesn't disappoint. The mixer has more power than the conventional stand mixer and makes quick work of incorporating ingredients.
I found the mixer bowl to be a little hard to handle; it sits precariously on two posts outside the perimeter of the bowl. Getting the bowl nestled in just so took longer than the smaller mixer's twist bowl bottom configuration. The mixer head does not lower into the bowl; instead the bowl rises to meet the beater. i wanted to adjust the head downward slightly for a tighter fit; but the mixer doesn't currently have an adjustment for the top.
The mixer has a larger footprint than the smaller Kitchenaid mixer; and I miss the ease in using the smaller appliance. The mixer has more power but the question is; do you need it?
I think I traded in my BMW for a Suburban. Great mixer, lots of space for big jobs. But for everyday use, I want my smaller Kitchenaid stand mixer back.
MY OLD KITCHENAID WAS OVER 30 YEARS OLD AND WAS WORKING PERFECTILY. I'VE STARTED MAKING BREAD AGAIN AND I WANTED A LARGE MACHINE THAT COULD HANDLE LARGE AMOUNTS OF FLOUR. THIS ONE IS GREAT. I DID WHIPPED CREAM YESTERDAY AND ALMOST HAD BUTTER. IT WORKS FASTED THAN I'M USED TO. GREAT MIXER. DON'T HESITATE TO PURCHASE ONE.
My new Kitchen aid mixer surpasses my expetations. The power and capacity is much better than my old kitchenaid mixer. I usualy make yeast breds and cookies. This Christmas I gave it a real workout, it had power to spare and the bowl size was very adiquate.
After years of wanting a Kitchenaid Stand Mixer, but not feeling "justified" (I don't bake a lot), my husband and I took the plunge. Cooks.com offered excellent sale prices, free shipping on American-made items, and Kitchenaid was offering a free ice cream bowl attachment, all of which clinched the deal -- my husband loves ice cream and we both value American-made products. My mixer arrived faster than expected, in perfect condition. I am still getting used to it (things mix so fast!) but find it a joy to use. Looking forward to trying things like meat loaf or meat balls and my husband is looking forward to the ice cream!
I love my new kitchen aid stand mixer. I had the 5 quart for 22 years and it is a work horse. I just wanted a bigger one. I am thrilled with this item. Love the dough hook. Whipped up my homemade pasta with ease!! I look forward to many more years of great recipes being made with this!!
Love everything about this mixer. It does what it's supposed to do. I've waited for years to get a kitchen aid stand mixer and I'm glad I got the professional 6-qt. model.
The only things I don't like has to do with its heavy-duty nature. The bowl is a little heavy so your arms get tired after scraping it clean. And the mixer is so big it won't fit on my counter straight on; I have to keep it at an angle to keep the base on the counter. The mixer is also so heavy that I get my husband to take it out from the cupboard.
