KitchenAid Pro Stand Mixer

I love it. Have wanted one for years but my Oster Kitchen Center just keeps on working. The locking bowl is wonderful. Don't have to worry about it not staying where it is supposed to. Would definitely buy again.

Makes baking a lot easier and faster I love it

I love this mixer. I had a smaller Kitchen Aid which I loved but when I would double a recipe it didn't fit as well. With this mixer I can double or triple recipes and have plenty of space so there is no mess. I highly recommend this mixer if you bake a lot.

Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer- 6 qt.

I damaged my old Kitchen Aid 6qt mixer by dropping a bottle of way too expensive vanilla into the paddle while it was running at top speed. The motor jammed and the damage done would have cost more to repair than purchasing a new mixer. I lived without one for a month and became very aware of how much I needed it. None of my smaller, cheaper mixers provided the mixing and whipping quality that this big girl does. I am so glad to have one again. Your price was significantly better than retail. I am twice pleased.

I like the arrangement of it, and the power.

My husband is the chef and he has wanted a Kitchen Aid professiona stand mixer for yes. He is thrilled with it. He likes the versatility of it and the power. He likes to make bread. My only complaint is that there was suppose to be a form for him to fill out to recieve either a pasta maker or ice cream maker for free. The form was not included. He would have chosen the ice cream maker.

Late start

Once my mixer arrived, my life turned upside down. I did not have an opportunity to try it out until last week, July 25, 2007. I tried two recipes and found that it was a good learning process and a confirmation that I had made the right choice in my purchase.

I mourned the almost one year of lack of use, but I had no control over it. Now that my life is back on track, I will put this mixer to very good use. In fact, a good friend and I have decided to get together once each week to make at least one recipe together (I'm trying to convince her that having a mixer like mine will be the best present she could give herself).

An event is coming up in September and I intend to bake at least 200 cookies or more for the fundraiser. I can do it with my KitchenAid!

Greatest thing I've ever gotten. I never know baking could be so easy when you have the right tools and this is asolutely a must have.

One can never go wrong with the classics! Don't be daunted by the rather high up-front cost- your grandchildren will thank you.

My wonderful boyfriend got me this mixer as an early Christmas gift for holiday baking and it is amazing. I was skeptical of its ability to knead bread up to my standards and it has done that and then some. I have tried each of my favorite recipes and it has done great things with all of them. I would recommend this machine to any serious baker.

This mixer is awesome. It is so easy to mix up a quick batch of anything. No more worries about burning out my hand mixer on a stiff batch of dough. Whipped shortbread comes out perfectly - melt in your mouth - because you can leave the dough mixing for the required time will you do other things. I love this machine. Should have bought one years ago.

After making 18 loafs of bread , 5 batches of cookies, 3 batches of muffins and 4 cakes I absolutly love this mixer over my old one. I would recommend this mixer to anyone that is looking to update or buy a new one and with the price at cooking.com you can't go wrong. Defective mixer

The above mixer did not work properly. There seemed to be only one speed (hi) and would stop after a few moments. I had to call Kitchen aid and they replaced it within a week. They also arranged for ups pickup of the original mixer.

The ratings are based on the replacement mixer.

I am a 69yr old housewife with 6 children &9 grands [retired from farm life[. Have kneaded thousands of loaves of bread and dozs. of sweet rolls. Am so enjoying the kneading of the KA & no longer have the pain in my right hand and shoulder from kneading. Wished we could have gotten a KA years ago. Am still trying to get the right mixture of flour for the wet ingredients the first time without guessing.Since Christmas I've made10loaves of bread & 6doz rolls. MAM

I have wanted a KitchenAid for a long time but could never quite spend the money. I'm so glad I finally did. Love the bowl lift feature and am really glad I chose that model. I was worried that when I did smaller batches of things they might not get mixed well but I haven't had a problem from one cake mix up to a LOT of mashed potatoes. I haven't had a mixer I could start and then walk away from like this one. It really helps when you're cooking a large meal.

Just what every cook needs.

I love to bake and have started a home based business selling cookies. This mixer is beyond awesome. I can not measure the ingredients fast enough for this mixer. It blends and mixes fast and thoroughly. Can not go wrong with this purchase.

I had wanted a professional mixer for a long while, and this one is a dream come true! I have made several things since receiving it, and the mixer is speedy, easy to use and easy to clean up afterward. Recipes I had put aside because of all the "creaming" instructions will be pulled out for sure--it's no longer an issue! I had shopped several locations and websites for the best price, and managed to find it here. I'm really looking forward to receiving my attachment from the promotion.

The One and Only REAL Mixer

Everyone on the Cooking Channel should own and use one of these. This mixer has been a dream to own. I cried when I had to give up my Kithenaid Artisan Stand Mixer that I had for the last 23 years. My mother-in-law is now quite excited to have the pleasure of owning my old stand mixer as I enjoy the pleasures and cooking ease I know have with the professional model.
