Turned the mixer on and not even as much speed or power as my 30yr old hand mixer that is dying. Would never recommend this product to anyone. No power, no speed.

I like it a lot because I bake with my granddaughter and it is very easy for her to use. And the mixer was a good price.

Several of the wires on the beaters were unattached when received. The attachments do not seem very substantial for a $100 mixer. Other than that, it works well.

I always wanted one and I did not have the money for one, I really wanted the one with 9 speed put these one will do great. Now I am going to save for the standing one. I am a cook at a daycare,I cook for 200 children and some times for the church, and having a good brand that I know will do good its great. I don't know how long it will take me to get the money for the standing one with some of the extra attachments, I will keep working the 2 jobs to get it some day.

In general, this a well designed hand mixer with a quiet DC motor rather than the typical noisy AC motor. The electronic controller starts up the mixer slowly so there isn't any batter splatter. The attachments are stainless steel and comes with 'open design' (post-less) beaters that work well and can be easily cleaned up. A cloth bag holds all the attachments. The cord can be routed to the left or right side and the mixer can be rested upright on its back end. Whipping up egg whites result in firm peaks with a fine consistent texture. Mixing batters of various consistencies is done easily by selecting the appropriate speed. This model design comes in various colors (white, red, and silver) It was top rated by a leading consumer's magazine. The only drawback is that some of the attachments wobble at the higher speeds.
