What a snag!

I was looking forward to receiving the dispenser because until now, I was storing my twine in a zip lock bag. When I attempted to use it, the rubber washer popped out; not really a problem because it is impossible to pull the twine through it! The ball of twine rotates and gets caught so there isn't an fluid motion when you pull on the cord. At least now I have a decorative place to store my twine!

This is a practical item for storing infrequently used kitchen twine in a clean and efficient dispenser. However, we were surprised to find that the container was too small for our ball of twine! So the dimensions of the dispenser are the only details that would be helpful for a potential buyer to know. It is 3" dia x 3.5" high. I don't recall if the original item description included the dimensions, but if it did, I failed to check the size of our twine!

The size was on the small side. It wouldn't hold the twine we had. We shall have to get a smaller twine or divide the spool. I wish it had been a couple of inches taller and an inch wider to fit the spool.

This dispenser beautifully accommodates the Butchers' String also available on this site. I bought the dispenser and the string at the same time and I am very pleased with the outcome. This dispenser keeps things organized AND rather pretty.

simple, neat solution for storing and dispensing kitchen twine. Tuck it away in a corner of the counter space when not using and always have it handy for anything that needs to be tied.
