We have been buying, drinking and loving Perugia ground coffee for several years, but the latest order we received is nothing like the coffee we have brewed in the past. It has little or no flavor, and is not any better than any off-the-shelf coffee brand that would sell at a much lower price. We have to wonder what has gone wrong at Torrefazione Italia to produce such a bland and unrewarding product?

The first time I made a pot, the aroma felt like I was in Italy at a cafe. Love this stuff...you gotta try it...it's the best...I know because I come from Palermo and this coffee is "palermo ground". truly great cup of expresso.

I want to buy Palermo in whole beans, not ground. Why is that not possible?

Great coffee!

As I wrote in my Montacatini review, I discovered this coffee in a Portland, OR coffeeshop several years ago and fell in love with it. I did order on line but after a while just went back to locally puchased coffee. On a recent stay at a Hilton Hotel this was the coffee served at the breakfast bar. What a wonderful surprise and cudos to Hilton for serving such 1st class great coffee. Needless to say as soon as I got home I ordered more. No bitter aftertaste and first cup to the last the coffee is great. Would highly recommend this coffee to anyone who enjoys a great cup of coffee. It's worth every penny!!!!
I forgot to add on my review of the Monticatini that you would never know it was decaffinated, tastes every bit as good as caffinated coffee!!!

Best coffee in the world.

Torrefazione Italia became my coffee of choice when I lived in Portland, Oregon. Torrefazione was a wonderful coffee shop in my neighborhood. 7 years after moving back home to Georgia, I am so glad to be able to order it from Cooking.com. It really is the best coffee in the world.

I had this coffee at a recent stay at the Hyatt in San Antonio and was completely intoxicated by it. If you like a strong coffee with low acidity and intense aroma and the richness of dark chocolate this is the coffee for you.

First had this coffe at a Hyatt hotel. My wife and I fell in love with it and had to ask our waiter what it was. So happy we can order it online and at a very reasonable price. This coffee is our new #1 favorite.

Perugia Blend Torrefazione Italia

What I REALLY wanted was the brewing filter pack of this particular coffee. We had it at luxury inn, provided in the rooms, and just loved it. Somehow, it tasted even better than these ground beans made the usual way. (Although they were good.)

I couldn't find the filter pack on your site. Do you think you could start stocking it? That would be great. Thanks.

Really good Coffee

I like the bold flavor of this line of coffees. I can't stand all the weak water stuff they have the nerve to call coffee.It doesn't matter where you are you just can't get a good cup of coffee.So when ever we travel we always carry our coffeemaker and of coarse your coffee. I grew up drinking cowboy coffee,which is a rich robust flavor of coffee,as the saying goes it'll put hair on your chest. Anyway thank you for having this available.

I was devistated when I could no longer buy Torrefazione coffee at the grocery. I can't tell you how many different brands and blends I tried - and wasted. I'm thrilled to get regular delivery of the best coffee.

My favorite coffee.

The only thing wrong with Torrefazione Palermo coffee is that I cannot find it for sale as whole beans, only ground. I prefer to grind it myself cup by cup. Torrefazione (Starbucks) is completely unresponsive to my request for beans. I comment with every order to cooking.com but I don't know if they forward the comment to Torrefazione or not, or if they get any feedback from them. It's frustrating.

Torrefazione Italia Coffee is THEE finest coffee going. I have been drinking the Palermo blend for about 8 years now and I still love it. I have also tried the other blends and do mix and match in my orders occassionally. I can hardly wait for morning time to brew a fresh pot of Torrefazione Palermo coffee. Starbucks people, you need to wake up and try a real cup of coffee. Cooking.com's prices are not bad either.

Great Coffee

I fell in love with this coffee and their coffee shops when I lived in Seattle. It is difficult to fine here in Coloado. One of the local grocery chains used to carry it, but no longer do so. So glad to find a place I can get it - and at a good price, too!

Invisible to telescopic eye...

Make no mistake -- this is some of the best coffee out there. The problem is that if you try it you will not be able to tolerate the coffee dispensed by the guy in the cart on the corner near your place of business. Rich and strong, but not overpowering. There's a lot of good stuff out there, but this is the best.

I used to be a Seattle's Best fan until I ordered this coffee. It is, by far, the best coffee I've ever had.
