2008 EatingWell Holiday Cookie Contest: Reader's Choice Sweepstakes On July 30, over 30 staff members and interns at EatingWell took on the serious job of taste-testing the top 10 semi-finalists in the holiday cookie contest, chosen from more than 370 entries submitted by EatingWell and Cooking.com readers. All entries tested met EatingWell nutritional guidelines, while still being sweet and satisfying. After much deliberation, the top six favorites were selected, giving a double nod to the cookie determined to be the most deserving of the grand prize: a $2,000 shopping spree from Cooking.com. Five runners-up will receive a $200 gift certificate from Cooking.com. While we can’t reveal the final results of just yet, we can give you the recipes for the cookies so you can judge for yourself. Bake one batch or try all 10 semi-finalists, or merely judge the cookies by how delicious they sound to you! (See recipes and photos by clicking on the voting form below.) When you vote for your favorite and enter your e-mail address you will be automatically entered in our “Cookie Swap” Sweepstakes for the chance to win a stand mixer of your choice from Cooking.com (up to a $550 retail value).
