Really heavy pan!

Bought this because I always wanted a great enamel cast iron pan, and the reviews were good. I wish the pan would have a little smaller, however, it is very heavy and bulky to use. Good performance, but won't get the use I bought it for because of the weight.

Though Le Creuset has always seemed to have a good reputation, I hadn't purchased any of their products until now. Expect the pan to be very heavy as it IS cast iron. What I didn't expect that was that food sticks to the surface like no other pan I have used. I had to soak and scrape this pan over one whole day. Of course I used a nylon spatula for the scraping. I am returning this pan, as I don't have the time to spend cleaning cooked-on foods, especially eggs. Save your money. Also, the green may appear to be dark on your monitor, but it is more like inside an avocado than "fennel".

I bought this to make recipes that could start on the stove top and move to the oven without a problem. This pan performed beautifully. I was thoroughly pleased with the results. I highly recommend. It really cleans up easily and pretty besides!
