Dijon is the new Eggplant

So, "Eggplant" is black, right?...but seriously, the Dijon is a very bright yellow. I recently bought the utensil crock in Dijon. I think it brightens up the kitchen.
As to the bakers, well, I already have the same set in red [cherry?] and it works as expected. The 10.5x7 is small as baking dishes go. It is a good size for baked mac & cheese for two - assuming two servings each. I also like it to reheat leftovers.
The bonus dish [5x7] is very small - I use this size for individual sides - for the diner who doesn't eat the same version of the main side, etc.,also great individual casserole or gratin dish as well.

definitely measure before you buy

definitely smaller than expected like most others wrote. Good if you're cooking for one or two at the most. the small one is good for any warm dips that you prepare but other than that, not really sure how i'll use

works well

I was suprised when I received the product, I thought it would be bigger. However, I made a lasagna for two and it worked perfectly. It's not deep enough for two layers, so one layer stuffed well. Clean up was easy, the lasagna didn't stick. The smaller pan, I'm not sure what I can use it for, but it came as part of the package, so I'm sure I'll find something. Overall, I'm satisfied with the quality, but I do need a bigger pan.

Bad Purchase

I purchased this set based upon the belief it would fit in my Black & Decker tabletop oven. Unfortunately, the 10.5 inch dimension does not include the two handles, so it is too long. I thought I could then use it in my conventional oven instead, but after washing it fell, hitting the floor. Since I have Corningware dishes that have fallen a similar distance without breaking into many pieces, I am disappointed in this stoneware's brittle nature.

Le Creuset's Stoneware is excellent for even heating of food. For two people, this set is ideal for microwaving vegetables, main dishes and leftovers. I was impressed by by both the price and the product.

Attractive and functional

Purchased this baker based on need and familiarity with product. Also attracted to relatively new blue color.
It is attractive enough and a practical size to bring to the table on a trivet, and is easily cleaned and stored. It's a decent weight and cooks and heats evenly.
I don't feel it was any bargain in price, especially with S&H added on. I have seen it for the same price in a high-end retail stroe. My rating of "best" is for the product itself, not the economy of buying it here in this way.

Rectangular Bakers

I love these two pieces. Alot of people complain about the small one but it is perfect for side dishes. My kids are grown up now so the small one is ideal for my husband and me. I use the larger one for when family is home or I do a pasta dish. Love the weight and the color.
